Great food, big portions, good price! That being said, this place is a dive/hole in the wall with no AC and parking is very difficult, but if you’re brave and determined, you’ll be rewarded with some excellent food! The service is really quick and people are friendly as well!
The best burger I've had on the island. The cafe has been here for 40 years and it shows the signs of age. Bug here The focus is the food and it is fresh quality food prepared with taste in mind. This is not a place for large groups and it is a cash only establishment.
I had the pleasure of trying their special of the day, the Ox Tail Stew, and I must say it was absolutely divine. This hidden gem, situated off the beaten path, is a hole in the wall that I stumbled upon by chance. Despite its unassuming appearance, the culinary expertise that lies within its walls is truly commendable. As a first-time visitor, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The Ox Tail Stew, cooked to perfection, demonstrated the chef's exemplary skills. The meat was succulent and tender, falling off the bone effortlessly. Each spoonful was bursting with rich flavors that left my taste buds longing for more.
Felix is always looking young. And keeps cooking up a storm. Sarisari is a good soup to eat with the prime rib. Oxtail stew is always popular. You can't get that kind of grinz without paying out of your pocket big time. He keeps it affordable and Delicious. I had oxtail stew with prime rib then slept for a day not hungry for 2 days. Mahalo Felix for all your years of hard work
Small place. 6 tables. The place fills up quickly. Get in and order, make yourself noticed as the place is busy. Also, be patient. Takeout is preferred if Ray's is full. Chill atmosphere. Friendly staff.
If you like, huge portions, good taste, and very reasonable prices, Ray’s Cafe may be the place for you. However, you have to find street parking, seating is limited, there is no air-conditioning, its crowded, you may have to wait, and you have to pay cash. They run different specials on different days of the week. For example, they serve prime rib on Friday through Monday. This is the only hole in the wall that I know of that serves prime rib, fresh fish, ribeye steak, king crab, lobster, rack of lamb, next to fried chicken, beef cutlet, pig’s feet soup, sari-sari, oxtail stew, hot cakes, and Vienna sausage omelet. Lol! They are open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. You can also call in a takeout order and eat the comfort of your car, at the office or at home. Plates come with your choice of toss salad or Mac salad and you can bring your own wine or beer. Overall: **** Food: ***** excellent! Very reasonable! Menu: **** great choices, varies daily Ambiance: * hole in the wall with no AC Service: *** depends on when you go Parking: * Street parking only RATINGS & RECOMMENDED ORDER: Prime Rib = A Rib Eye & King Crab = A Oxtail Stew = A Sari Sari = B Fried Chicken = B (look at the pictures of the food on Yelp or Google) Yelp: https://yelp.to/Obhoo4actQ If you would like to see the complete video, more restaurant reviews, ratings of each dish, and my recommended order follow me on Instagram at MiltonIn808
Okay it’s off the beaten path but well worth the drive. The food is amazing and the serving is huge. The place is small and seating is limited though so take outs might be your only option. You’ll ask yourself how can this small diner with just Ray cooking in the kitchen have such an awesome menu! This was our first time there and it showed. Surprisingly all the local diners started to help us navigate the extensive menu. We felt like family. Nice atmosphere. We will make this place a regular stop when in Oahu.
This is must to go spot for breakfast if you find yourself in Honolulu. Cash only hole in the wall that has some incredible food. Ray is genuine and an awesome person.
The server was such a pleasant gentleman, really puts a smile on your face. The food was really good, especially the cheesecake. We got a guava cheesecake and it's so thick and not too sweet. I loved it. Definitely coming back. BTW 5% discount if you
If you need coffee or a quick bite, look no further than Local Joe! Friendly and excellent service! The iced vanilla latte was perfect. The espresso was bold (no detectable nutty notes, if you donât like that) and balanced perfectly with the milk a
Exceeded my expectations. There are a lot of similar cafes around Waikiki; however, ALOH had an awesome menu with a ton of variety and something for everyone. I was excited when I saw the smoked salmon toast and wow was it awesome. Toasts run about
The coffee came with steamed milk which was an unexpected delight! Also the sweetbread French toast lived up to expectations and then some! I was recommended this place 3 years ago and finally got to experience the legendary breakfast / brunch for my
Very nice service with tasty drinks. Loved the atmosphere as well. Just make sure to finish your drink before touring any more of the museum since food and drinks arenât allowed in the exhibits.
Only negative is no bathroom. Food was SO GOOD, so was the coffee/syrup. I spent all week lamenting the lack of vegetarian food around while in town for a conference. I had their food on the last day and it was amazing, I wish I had been eating there
Really enjoyed breakfast here everyday during my stay in Waikiki!ð Especially loved their waffles which were soft and crunch. Coffee was great as well! Highly recommend ð
It was busy when my friends and I went there, but I think it's a great place to have brunch or simply get some work done (WiFi is available and pretty strong). I ordered an avocado toast with egg and I would say I was pretty satisfied, though it was

Nice atmosphere. They have various flavors of coffee. Raspberry one is good. Also tried the acai berry bowl. Good fresh fruits served on again freeze. Highly recommend. Ps. One may miss the shop as it is on level 2. It is there. :)
Ono, soo ono. If you enjoy the taste and feel of each bite in your mouth, this is the place for local, healthy, ono eats. Fresh every single time. This is the first time in my life that I have eaten at one restaurant three (3) times IN THE FIRST WEEK
Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout

I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
Incredible food not only for a food truck, but anywhere. We had the steak plate and the beef bowl. The meet was incredibly tender. The sides added, but didnât steal the show. I highly recommend.
This gluten free bakery was what dreams are made of. If youâre looking for sage gluten free (and some vegan) options too, I recommend getting out of Waikiki and stocking up here on your visit to Hawaii when you can. I brought my gluten free family
Le's Banh Mi in Honolulu, Hawaii is a hidden gem on the third floor of the 808 building. Their excellent Vietnamese sandwiches are a delight for banh mi lovers. The clean and welcoming balcony seating area adds to the experience. The Saigon style ban
The coffee shop was pretty good. We loved the ambiance and their specialty coffee's. They do have guest wifi and indoor seating if you want to work or have conversations! We tried lavender latte with banana bread! Would definitely recommend checking
Absolutely loved the hike steady climb Iâm a big guy and made it with no problems. Elderly people women holding babies even the show off running up and down the hill just do it and say you have done it!
I enjoy the yoga practice, 60 min bikram session is time effective for me, clean dressing rooms, showers, great smelling shampoo and conditioner âï¸easy to refill water bottle, all around great experience. Most importantly run by great people
