This is a super cool lighthouse. I have not been inside but from what I can see it looks pretty nice. It is located very close to the beach in a clearing in the woods. I really admire its design. The skinny supports are stylistically very interesting. I think that this lighthouse adds a lot of character to the beach area.
Still an active Coast Guard facility used as a retreat for Coast Guard personnel. Could be viewed from adjacent public property. However, the property is closed to the public.
We have a special fascination with lighthouses being from Kansas. This one has a lovely beach and great walking trails, but we didn't have the time to explore them this trip. We purchased our out of state Wisconsin State Park annual vehicle pass online. Daily parking passes vary on state or out of state vehicles. We came to see the lighthouse and it was worth the price of admission to the State Forest just for the short walk out and the great views.
Nice lighthouse. Had to pay admission fee to the state park to see this one...if you have a hard time walking or are handicapped, this one may be a bit difficult for you to get to. You have to follow a board walk towards the beach to get a good view. But the view is amazing! Plus beautiful views of the lake at the same time. We went during a snow storm so it was serene.
Stopped while traveling with my husband on business. It was a snowy, cold day but still had a nice time and got some great pictures!
One of the better(if not the best) lighthouses on the central Lake Michigan coast. The property itself is a private residence but the beach in front and all around it is public so you can get a great view of the lighthouse. The beach is nice and the park has camping during the summer. It's a beautiful spot to visit.
No better place to make new memories and share old family memories than at the light house! One of our weekends we will have gorgeous weather. The beach was amazing to walk this year.
Beautiful setting and lighthouse. Great trails to the dunes and along Lake Michigan. This lighthouse is still manned by the Coast Guard, so tours or entry into the lighthouse area are not permitted. The rest of the park is great for camping, hiking, biking, using the dog beach, and the rest of the beach.

This is an AWESOME toy store!!! They have lots of toys for babies and toddlers along the first wall, and lots of books and work books. There is a huge variety of toys like marbles and ramps, magnetic toys, dart boards, beads and strings, toy vehicles
We ate here in September of 2023 on a trip to Two Rivers. The food was so good we've been considering the drive up from Illinois multiple times since!! No doubt it will be a regular stop on our way past on several future trips.
Stopped in to purchase mum plants and pumpkins. The woman that waited on me was very helpful and pleasant. Helped me by loading my car. Very pleased with my purchase.
Love this place didn't have much time to hang out but I gotta tell you. I enjoyed every minute I was there. Thanks guys for starting this up. Hopefully you guys will be here for many mini mini years
From the first bite of one of these burgers, you know for a fact that Ring of Fire could teach those big name actor burger joints (lookin' at you, Wahlburgers) a thing or two! THIS was a "capital B for Burger" type of Burger. The flavor! The juicine
We had a very nice meal here. It was quite busy, so we had a bit of a wait, but the food was well worth it. Priced very well, comfortable bar atmosphere (we ate on the bar side), friendly staff, and delicious food. Shout out to Village Inn on the L
A neat place on the water with a lighthouse and some large boats. Unfortunately they were closed for the season, so we didn't get to see the museum. We walked around the outside to get some pictures and take in the atmosphere. Saw an otter or somethi
