Ravello Osteria - Italian restaurant in Monterey Park - 2315 S Garfield Ave, USA

This place is so good that I wanna slap someone every time I take a bite of food. They bring you some bread drizzled in some pesto when you site down. Delicious! I can’t believe it’s complementary. We ordered the lobster linguini, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti w/ tomato basil and garlic along with a couple pizzas. All soooooo good that I was ready to slap something. Tastebuds were overloading with the feel goods. I’ve been to other osterias all over Los Angeles and this is easily my favorite out of all of them. I read somewhere that the owner brought the pizza oven over from Italy. I’m sure it adds to the flavor of the food. This is a cash only establishment but there is an ATM on site.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in LA, this is the place to go! The blanco pizza, the carbonara pasta, and the steak are one of the best I’ve ever had. Such beautiful dishes with rich taste and flavor. The service is also so good and they make you feel at home! I love this place and am now a frequent guest! Disclaimer: it is cash only!! But they do have an atm inside!

No parking, no reservations, cash only. Went on a busy night. Waited around 30min. Food was ok. Service was good.

Ambiance was fun. My first time here. Our waiter was fantastic! He helped us choose our food. Ribeye steak was delicious. Cooked to perfection 😋 Arigula salad was on point! And taramisu was oh so good. Thank you. We will be back to try everything else on the menu. 😀

I think i will start off by saying first impressions are everything. Super friendly staff with great customer service. On this visit we had Ribeye that was very delicious and 💯% on point . We also ordered 2 pizzas that were one of the best pizzas i have had. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for great food and wonderful ambiance.

We've been here four times and never had the ribeye steak.The first time they told me it was the last one that was sold to the table next to me.The second time they told me I came too late and they were already sold out.The third time they told me they only serve dinner.The fourth time they told me that their steaks are only for members and they are fully booked early in the morning.I don't know if they don't want to serve us or if they think their hunger marketing is smart? Does it really make sense? Anyway I won't come again! Feel cheated.

We got the pork wings, penne, carbonara, linguine marsala, and rib eye. They messed up our order but the server was very nice about it. They gave us the drinks and dessert on the house! Absolutely fantastic I would be back for more 🙂

Monterey Park doesn’t come to mind when you ask someone where great Italian restaurants are at. Thank goodness for Ravello Osteria!!! We started with what looked like pizza dough with pesto or basil sauce. I forget because we inhaled it before figuring out what the dish was called. We ordered the all stars of their menu because it tasted like they hit it out of the ballpark once they all came in. We shared a pasta dish one with and one without truffle oil ( because I’m allergic to it, yeah woe is me) the Penne Pasta with Organic Chicken and the Linguini Marsala. I could smell the truffle oil so much that I cried on the inside because I couldn’t have any. We also were impressed with the Baby Mix Salad which just had the right amount of tart in the dressing to balance the rest of the carbs we took in for the night. Our friends had the Seared Organic Chicken Breast which looked tantalizing. Our son got his expected Pepperoni pizza but we ordered the other half to be the Porco pizza so we wouldn’t be denied. All in all we had a great meal and together with their great service it helped offset their lack of parking space which is unfortunate. Molto bene!!!
