This unique hostel, is a charming and well-located family-friendly option, perfectly situated next to the beautiful Michigan lake. The building itself is old but has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that adds to its character. The hostel’s location is ideal for enjoying lakeside views and outdoor activities, making it a great spot for families looking to explore the area. Despite its age, the hostel’s interior is maintained with care, offering a warm and inviting environment. While the building’s vintage charm might not be for everyone, it provides a unique and enjoyable experience that sets it apart from more modern accommodations. Overall, [Hostel Name] offers a fun and comfortable stay with a prime location, perfect for a family getaway by the lake.
Wonderful place to visit. cool vibe. Black Lung Brewery in the front has great food and drinks. right on the water. cool place for a getaway. Management was very accommodating, we had to switch to a different location half way thru our trip because of booking. They offered to take our luggage to the next airbnb. The manager Angie Left Hot Cheetos for my kids and coffee for my wife and I at the next location because of casual conversation at check in. very aware. It’s the small things that make all the difference. Kudos to you for noticing and taking action.
Being right above the brewery was enjoyable. Good food, good drinks and great live music. Very clean, comfortable space. We stayed on a weekend during the summer. There is water sport rental right across the street.
What a beautiful gem on the heart of the chain of lakes! I was out this way just a couple years ago, and the remodel of this building is Incredible. It’s even better that you have a great brewery just a few steps from your room, they offer great beers, seltzers, and some great food menu options as well. Customer service was very attentive with any questions I had as well. It’s nice to see the change of hospitality in this area. We will definitely be back!
Showed up at night, luckily the guy who worked at the bar helped, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten in. I called both numbers given to me by email and no response. I texted the numbers as well, no response. I was right above the bar and didn't sleep at all until 1 am. I texted the number and asked to be moved to a different room, no response. Only given one towel the entire stay when it was me and my sister staying. I tried emailing, they responded and said they would give us towels, but they never came. We ended up buying our own towels from Walmart. Also, the wifi didn't work. Worst service I've experienced in my life!
Great space to spend time with family. Quiet and peaceful. Great communication between host always made sure everything was up to order. Would come again w/o thinking about it.
In 2 br apt. Mice droppings all over. Could hear them running around at night. No place for clothes except top shelf in closets or floor. No shelf/counter in bathroom. Steep staircase to enter. Loud brewery below. No room service or anybody to ask. T.p, and towels are minimal. No soap, no microwave, and coffepot was dirty and took hr, only made 1/2 cup of 4. No ice or vending machines available.
For a hostel at a hostel price, this was everything I hoped for and nothing I feared. It was clean and had a beautiful view of Fox Lake. The brewery downstairs was a bonus.
AAAA+ Best Mexican food in our areaâ¼ï¸Authentic 100%. I went with a friend that always raved about the food. I'm so glad we went. We had Nachos with ground beef + guacamole. Steak Enchiladas, Chicken Taco dinner chicken perfectly flavored. I broug
Stopped in for Fox Lake 4th parade, great service, great drink prices, and clean bathrooms. And they also have a section of alcohol to go. Good dive spot.
Amazing views of the lake. I personally love the outdoor patio. Great food, cold drinks and get a suntan all in one place. They have plenty of boat slips to come eat by boat. They also have a good size parking lot.
About a week ago I went to grab food at the drive thru with my wife, but upon pulling up there was a man with a glass eye and cane guarding the menu. He looked like he possibly resides in a sewer of some sort based on his appearance. He spoke in ridd
