Rancho California Inn - Featured Reviews (211)
The rooms here very well furnished, equiped and oh so clean. It's a 2 minute walk to everything on Front Street in Old Town, Temecula. Plenty of parking and several restaurants a stones throw away. Prices go up on weekends but still a great value compared with other hotels here.
Room had a bad smell as if someone had sprayed it heavily with some kind of freshener spray to mask the odor. We checked in and left for our event hoping that the room would air out. When we returned, the smell was still there. Amazingly, the lady that works there suggested spraying it with Lysol again! We left and were issued a full refund.
Positive: This hotel is very affordable for the Temecula area. It's close to downtown and has a few places to eat nearby within walking distance. Negative: The shower was incredibly loud - there was a shrill sound when the water was on. Not only was it annoying while you were showering, but even those in the room would have to turn up the TV just to hear it over the sound. Negative: ""
Room fine nice They leave the property at 11pm on Sunday but he stayed so I could get my keys. The regular channels on tv did not work it said call office they are gone. Only issue someone should be here in case of issues. No issues so far with the rooms.
A nicely remodeled Inn, convenient location, great price. Everything was clean, comfortable and seemed relatively new. Recommended, and the price makes it better.
Positive: "" Negative: We hung the do not disturb sign, but the maid service came into the room while we were out and turned off the AC and cleaned out the trash. I really did not appreciate this act.
A dryer was broken and one of light bulbs above vanity was out. ($178/night)
Easy access to high way and dinings are close. Thankful for a refrigerator and a microwave.
Stay here every year for 8 years when up in Temecula. Clean, pool, run well by local family. Worth every Penny & 3-5 blocks to the dozen fun bars, restaurants in Old Town.
So I am staying here for work, this place does have a lot of good things. It is very new and in good shape. Just a lot of small things that add up to not give them that good at rating.
