This is a fantastic park for people of all ages and modest event sizes! The playground can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike, and the seating and fields open the space to great opportunities.
Cute park in the middle of Austin close to a grocery store for easy picnic ideas.
We like the playground features and there are several different elements to the park, including basketball & tennis courts, trees, statues, open space, etc.
Appreciate that the restrooms & water fountains are typically in working order.
A few different areas have picnic tables, including under shady trees.
Great neighborhood park for family and children. Not to big and not to small. Fields for organized sports, and an open air amphitheatre for shows. Pool is open during the summer and tennis great year round. The playground is progressive with options not at all parks. What a great gem tucked away in Austin.
This park has different playgrounds and sections for kids all ages. It also has s covered basketball court, tennis courts, a pool, and a big lawn to run around!
One of the best playscapes in Austin. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Kids can do kickboarding around the park since it is quite flat. It also has a swimming pool, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a baseball field and quite a few picnic tables under the shade. Highly recommended!!!
Decent park for the kiddos. Like that there's a tennis court and pool. Good crowds and gets pretty busy during the weekends. Like that there are levels of slides and some swings throughout.
With that said, it's not my favorite park though and this is why - missing a sandbox. There's a hospital nearby with occasional sirens and my kid and some others keep running towards the noise wanting to see an ambulance/firetruck/police car and nothing preventing the kids from running into the street. A fence or wall would have been nice, atleast by the playground area to limit the # of exit points. Lastly, it can be a little dirtier compared to some of the other parks I have been to in the area.
But overall, a decent park, love the neighborhood and the big trees, and good vibes overall.

We've been coming here for years and love it. Great for the whole family. We play on the playground, throw airplanes or frisbees in the open area, fly kites when it's windy. We usually get food from one of the nearby restaurants since it's an easy wa
We saw this on one of the bus tours. We definitely could have stayed longer than the bus allowed, but the views are beautiful! Worth visiting while in the area. The bus driver did warn that if you're taking your own car, park it close to the stairs b
Love this park! The city keeps it clean and maintained. There are several bakeries and bars nearby within a minute walk, and Thinkery. The ducks are so friendly and there are many places to sit and read in the grass, on the steps, and on benches. Ice
Hidden gem in the middleof East Austin. A beautiful easy trail you walk, run or bike. Dogs are welcome, signage along the way. Crosses two beautiful bridges, a community garden, a subtrail along the water and a metro crossing station.
Very beautiful area. Lots of falls. Some areas were a little challenging to navigate because of the boulders, but it's a really nice hike. Lots of people with dogs, and I ran into some unique butterflies on the trail. Another plus was that it was fre
Perfect park if you want to walk, not too big or small, and if you're bored, you are within walking distance from the domain. But the sights at sunset are worth seeing.
There is a restroom next to the pond and rock. Usually, there is someone nearby
