Ramen Satto - Authentic Japanese restaurant in Rapid City - 1575 N Lacrosse St, USA

Probably the best ramen shop in town (and yes, we've been to all of them multiple times). Very excited that they've expanded their hours so we can come here more often. Also like the little snacks they get in :)

My husband and I visited Ramen Satto at the end of September. The team member that took our order was very welcoming and friendly. Our food was prepared in a timely manner! The atmosphere was inviting and clean. We both really, really enjoyed the food. I highly recommend Ramen Satto, if you're in the mood for some ramen! Best ramen spot in SD! Ramen Satto is amazing!! Their hours are a bit limited, as it's run by the two owners but they easily make up for it by being incredibly friendly and having absolutely fantastic food! 10/10 will be coming back often!

This was our first visit to Ramen Satto. We really liked it, it is very authentic Japanese ramen. The atmosphere is very nice inside, kind of a hip Japanese theme. They have cool neon lights and other art. The Black garlic ramen was extremely good as was the tankatsu. The noodles in the ramen are very good, sometimes traditional ramen noodles can be a little bready for my taste. The flavor of the broths were both excellent, and the eggs were a great touch. This is the most authentic ramen restaurant in the area I believe. Highly recommend A++

I had the Black Garlic Tonkatsu, it was so flavorful and delicious. The gyoza are really good. The shop is small and only open for a few hours a day, but the service is quick and they are very friendly. I recommend going early because it gets busy quick.

This ramen is a REAL treat! We learned the owner is from Okinawa - so the ingredients and taste are authentic!! She was very kind and makes a delicious TOKATSU & BLACK GARLIC TOKATSU. My husband, “tween” son, and I really enjoyed it. We lived in Japan for 4 years and have only been back a year and have been craving real ramen. So glad we found this while on vacation here!! Easily walkable from the Hilton TRU hotel in Rapid City. This ramen shop is very clean and decorated nicely with fun Japanese decor. Comfortable chairs & table. They have bottled itoen green tea, jasmine tea and a specialty melon soda ( with the glass ball ) as well as regular fountain sodas and ice water. The wait for our lunch was minimal. She brought out 3 big bowls of pork broth, 2 slices of pork belly, kamaboko, mushrooms, roasted garlic chips, scallions and egg!! Absolutely delicious!! We may eat here again tomorrow!! Oishi desu!! Keep in mind they close at 3pm.

We are long time fans of Sumo, and we're excited to finally get over to Ramen Satto! Excellent food! The flavors are amazing!

Such good ramen in town. Staff is great and very accommodating. Definitely closest thing to Japan that I’ve had. They have many options, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy with options of pork or chicken and even gluten free noodles if you need gluten free.
