Authentic food with SO MUCH FLAVOR. Ramen is made to order and let me tell you. It's amazing. The Ramen came with potato wedges in it! Soaked up so much flavor yet still crispy. Delicious. Everything was great. We had 2 vegetarians in our group and it was also their first time having Ramen ever. They said they will come back also. Ridiculously good food.
First time in, if I could give 3.5 I would. The atmosphere was pleasant but there is limited seating available. Unfortunately they were out of edamame… which was surprising. The ramen broth had good flavor and the vegetables were pretty basic. The service was very good. Overall it was an average good place and I would recommend trying it if you’re in the area.
Absolutely amazing Ramen. I’ve been going here since it opened and it’s been up and down with service / consistency / taste. However this new crew (mostly younger gentlemen) has everything fine tuned and mastered. I was greeted, sat , and ordered and had a water in 4 minutes. Absolutely amazing vegetarian broth. So flavorful and the person making it cares about the vegetarians ! Don’t be afraid to ask for *extra spicy * .
I'm a big fan of Ramen. I've eaten it in Japan and in many locations in the States and in Canada. I take the time to make it myself. I slow cook pig's feet and neck bones to make stock, etc. So when I run into a gem like this place, I get excited. Tiny hole in the wall but, worth the trip and the wait if you have to. The stock is phenomenal. They specialize in pork broth and miso blends. They do have a vegetarian one with a kelp blend, but the pork and miso is king. I had the ISE, which is their dark miso. It's sharper and has more funk. The ramen was called ISE Cha-Shu Ramen. 3 pieces of the pork in there and it was grilled perfectly. The egg, fried shrimp and ground pork were quite tasty as well. The noodle was pretty standard and had a good bite to it. My dining companion had the ISE Karaage Ramen. Their fried chicken is really good here too and I'll be sure to get a side dish next time. We had to sit at the corner of the counter that faces the door so every time the door opened we got a cold blast of air. I would so sit right there next time with my coat on to eat ramen again if it's as good as it was this time.
Definitely a must try ramen spot if you're in the area! We got the Hokkaido Chashu ramen and asked for it to be spicy. Definitely a very filling ramen so would recommend coming with an appetite. Very cute interior with counter style ramen experience. Space is limited so come early when you can.
Updating my review from 11-months ago or so and this place is still a hit. Seemed a bit quiet for a Monday night around 7pm but during our dine-in, people started to flow in. Added a picture here of my Tokyo Spicy Ramen with 1-piece of Cha-Shu. Piece of Cha-Shu was huge and noodles were endless. I had more space for a spicier bowl so added some chili oil. Would ask for extra spicy paste on the side next time. This place is an excellent go-to choice any time of day, especially because they're open later than other ramen spots in the burbs. --- Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! It has been a while since I was here last. The menu still has the original Ramen options but pictured here is something I do not recall seeing/ordering - Curry Ramen. Definitely a tasty and unique flavor, and broth is full-bodied. The piece of Chicken Katsu was a nice sized piece, crispy on the outside, and juicy meat on the inside. Something I would not order all the time but their Spicy Miso Ramen is always a good go-to.
Delightful ramen spot! It took about 45 minutes for our party of 5 to be seated tonight, but the food was totally worth the wait. We were originally seated at the bar, but our server graciously offered us a nearby table once it opened up. Once seated, the ramen arrived quite quickly and was truly superb. I was happy to see so many vegetarian options on the menu, and I ended up ordering the vegetarian Tokyo ramen with a miso egg. The broth was salty and mouth-watering. The noodles were well-cooked. The toppings were excellent complements. It’s worth a trip to this spot for the ramen alone.
Depending on the day the wait time varies from 10mins -1hr on the weekends. Very worth the wait regardless, chewy noodles, gooey soy eggs, and perfectly crisp tempura and chicken Katsu. Definitely a must try and will be returning. 😋
I first off have to say the extreme family like atmosphere, authentic feel, and kindness of the staff made me feel like I was eating in my own house. The food was excellent and their grill to cook the meats on worked without fail and was able to cook
Delicious, freshly prepared seafood! I ordered the fried catfish dinner, which was 3 nice-sized pieces of cornbread battered catfish. Dirty rice was delicious and corn on the cob was good. My wife ordered the small fried shrimp basket. Piping hot shr
Tried a new place at least for us. Atmosphere is cute and breakfasty. Service excellent. First the cappuccino and latte were not only excellent but very reasonably priced. I was actually shocked at how good the prices were. Then the honey biscuits we
