Ramada by Wyndham Oceanside - Hotel in Oceanside - 1440 Mission Ave, USA

Four of the rooms that we booked for an in-town convention had an abundance of miniature flies making it impossible to eat or drink without them landing in or on your food and drink. When reported, was told that the problem had been previously reported and that there was nothing they could do about it. One staff member had the audacity to ask if I had food in the room and my reply was they were in there when I checked in and when I reported it immediately, I was told that they had to contact the manager- who never came, called or addressed the problem. One of the rooms reported crawling bugs. All 4 rooms that were booked for a full week stay, checked out early the next morning. No breakfast area. Website pictures are deceiving. Staff was very cordial. I have pictures of the flies on my walls and on the bed pillows. I also have video of a couple of them crawling on the rim of my coffee cup if management would like to see them. I would not recommend this hotel at this location at all.

The front desk is very rude and not helpful by any means. They changed a security deposit without letting us know and when asked for a receipt they said they will not provide a paper copy and it will be emailed however they did not emailed yet. Secondly the website said that they have hot breakfast but they don't and only have granola bars. The receptionist aren't working but playing around goofing off. The fact that they did not provide a receipt means they are trying to steal money from customers. Would not stay here again.

I was greeted by kind and helpful hotel staff that provided me a room on the first floor (because I mentioned I would be bringing my pet dog) without even having to ask. Ao considerate! My room was neat and clean and accessible with no issues. I left before breakfast, but I am sure that would have been great as well. When checking out, the process was easy and the hotel clerk was very kind. The area/location is ideal also! Everything you need is very close (shopping, activities, food spots, etc). All in all, a great stay! The only thing I wasn’t used to was my needing to pay a $200 deposit when booking. But the deposit comes back to your card after a few days following your checkout (so long as you don’t destroy the room).

The elevator shocked me , half the electric outlets didn’t work , the toilets didn’t flush all the way, The electrical plates weren’t intact pieces missing with showing wires . There wasn’t breakfast at the breakfast hall. The breakfast was granola bars n a muffin in the lobby very disappointed for it being a Wyn . The a/c didn’t work in the room always sweating . The power to the lights next to bed didn’t work had to charge my phone across the room. Very disappointed wouldn’t go back very disappointed especially for a hotel that’s $200 a night at least serve breakfast. Also this place made me not want to try WYNDHAM ever again in my honest opinion sorry

Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful; maid service was great with clean towels every day. Rooms are a little dated but clean. HOWEVER, the $200 CASH deposit is insane. I travel 2-3 times a month and have never had to pay a cash incidental deposit. Why can't you just put a CC hold like every other hotel?

I never do bad reviews, but I have to do to this place. I don't want people got same mistakes as me.l They're lied about breakfast. On online, they posted breakfast included, but when you're there, no breakfast provided. Room is smell so badly, like a animal dead. Bed are uncomfortable, bed sheets make we itched all night. Not recommended, really disappointed this location. Price are high, $214 per night plus cost $200 for deposit. Please don't waste your money. 👎👎👎

It was a good experience to be honest the room where clean and organized didn't have trouble getting into my room and everything was clean. But once I entered the bathroom there was a spider in the tub but I killed it right away. But it was a good experience and there is so many close stores by it was nice staying especially since we went for a soccer tournament those 3 days where good it was fun.

Try to check in even 10 minutes early and they want your deposit in cash. There is no breakfast even though website says there is (they blame the misinformation on 3rd party reservation sites). No coffee/supplies for 2nd morning. Soda from vending machine room temperature. Room was clean, bed was comfortable
