Ramada by Wyndham Flushing Queens - Featured Reviews (2106)
We brought a group of 26 people, and stayed in 8 hotel rooms for a week. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. They graciously allowed us to use their breakfast space (when it was unused) for meetings, and they were always willing to help. The rooms are a good size, and the hotel is clean! I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Also, it is about a five minute walk from a subway station, so it's a great place to stay for travel in and out of the city.
Positive: Great location, the train was super close by and the neighborhood itself has a ton of great places to eat. The hotel staff were nice and helpful! Our room was very clean and had a great view of the skyline. Negative: ""
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ramada by Wyndham Flushing Queens in July. The General Manager, Mr. JK, and his team members, Michelle and Mira, provided exceptional service that made our visit truly memorable. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor with a stunning view of the NYC skyline—absolutely breathtaking!
The hotel's location was perfect for us, with nearby halal food options, the Skyview Mall, various shops (mostly Chinese products), and easy access to the subway. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the breakfast provided each morning was delicious and a great start to our day. The housekeeping and kitchen staff performed their duties professionally.
Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.
My wife and I checked in on the 7th of September.
We didn’t realize that you couldn’t check in early.
So my wife spent an additional 461.00 for 5 hours of rough sleep.
Hallways are dingy and smelly.
Rooms aren’t any better.
Beds are hard, mismatched pillows.
Basically no amenities.
Furniture way outdated 1980s.
The lobby furniture was dingy and dirty smelled like someone had died.
I didn’t take pictures because we were both exhausted and wanted to get out of this place.
I’ve stayed at Ramada before and it was never like this.
The desk person Sherman could barely speak English.
He didn’t give any explanation to any questions unless it was about money.
Poorly dressed not even in a uniform.
He was giving a toothbrush to a guest but was charging 3.00
This place is a farce and a joke.
We booked through a third party site and were pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. This is a great place to stay. Emma, from the front desk, made everything smooth for check-in even though we arrived a little early. As a single dad traveling with his son, small gestures make all the difference.
The location is great, and it takes about six or seven minutes to get to the Flushing Main Street metro station. There's lots of food nearby, including all the important fast foods, and tons of Asian restaurants, and a couple pizza places. Asian markets line line the nearby Main Street
There is a Duane Reade nearby, a Macy's, and a Target. You can also take the Long Island railroad out to Long Island or into the city from a nearby station. Citi Field is also one stop away or a short walk. A new regal movie theater is a two-minute walk away. Area is under major renovation block by block, with new restaurants and new buildings popping up everywhere. A Raising Cane chicken place just opened this weekend.
There is a very convenient breakfast. Served, with coffee, eggs and sausage, Asian favorites, baked goods, fruit juice, etc
I highly recommend this location.
Recently stayed in the hotel for a festival that was in the area, the room I had was nice and clean I believe it was #603. it also had a great view, the hotel was conveniently around a lot of cafes and the 7 subway station. Which can take you to a lot of places in New York. Overall the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Consider staying here if you are coming to events at the Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Our rooms were clean, albeit small, but this is standard for NY. The staff were friendly at check in and check out. I wish there was an area to briefly park to unload and load the car as carrying everything to the nearby parking garage was not ideal. The daily breakfast was okay- the coffee had grounds in it and the selection was the same daily. The gym was small but sufficent for a workout while traveling. Nice place, would stay again.
Me and wife stayed in the hotel in the month of may 2024. 100 dollar deposit was taken from our credit card and told during the checkout time that it will be refunded in 7 days time. It’s been 2 months and nobody responds to our calls or emails. The stay was good but the way they treated us with the deposit amount for not good
We loved everything about this hotel. The room, the location, the staff. If ever back in NYC, we definitely come here again. It's a 45-50 minutes metro ride to the city center. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. There are shops and resta
