Ramada by Wyndham Elko Hotel at Stockmen's Casino - Featured Reviews (1183)
Lots of close parking, check in was quick and easy, staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Nice to have a place to eat in the same building, food was terrific and great price. beds could use an update but I slept well. Quiet area off the main road room was nice.
Overall a nice hotel, older and a little dated. The room was pretty clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast is in the casino coffee shop/diner. The breakfast was delicious with four choices. Two of the choices are a really nice hot breakfast (approximately $15 value for each hot breakfast item).
The room was clean and if your traveling with kids a great place.
They have a pool and spa right in the courtyard which is convenient.
They also offer free(ish) breakfast at their restaurant. They offer several items but you can add to it at a price.
Our food came quickly and was delicious! They serve portions that are plentiful.
You will not be disappointed.
A very nice hotel. The room was spotless and the pet fee was reasonable (also, there is a great place to walk a dog right across the street). The location - in the middle of downtown Elko- is wonderful. The front desk personnel are all courteous and helpful. Finally, the complimentary breakfast is excellent. You get 4 choices - if none suit you, you can order off the menu and receive a $2.00 discount. I i ordered one of the 4 choices - a big bowl of delicious oatmeal, toast, and coffee.
Positive: Friendly staff at check in and in the restaurant, low price. Good balcony for a little room privacy. Negative: Hair in the bathroom that was not mine. Smelled like smoke. not great water pressure.
The Ramada is part of an aging casino with a cafe. The management has obviously made an effort to modernize and make the rooms more attractive, but they're still on the small size and are suffering from indifferent maintenance, judging by the shabby curtains with their sagging sections where the hems have come unsewed. The bed was reasonably comfortable but I missed having a chair and table. The complimentary breakfast is supplied by the cafe via vouchers. Choices are limited but include a classic bacon/sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast meal.
If you are reading this, the best advice I can give is stay ANYWHERE else! I upgraded to a premium nonsmoking king room. I expected smoke in the casino but we were on the top floor and our room, including bed pillows reeked. Fitted sheet popped off as soon as we sat on the bed. Refrigerator didn’t work (front desk apologized), one very small bar of soap to be used between the sink and shower. Shower head needs replaced because most of the water drips down the wall. Room had a window looking out on the hallway — felt like a cell rather than a premium room, very dreary and depressing. We had two bath towels, one was threadbare and had ragged edges. I have rags in better condition. Turned the air on and the smell of cigarettes became even worse. Not sure how this place is backed by Wyndom and I read a lot of reviews - no way is this a 3 star hotel. Sleep in your car if this is your only choice!
Another overnight stay on our way home. This Ramada is old, but you should expect that from an older mining town of Elko NV. It's much larger now than 40 years ago but hotel still has a little charm with its atrium and the room doors facing it and pool. The desk people and restaurant people were very nice and helpful. The room we had happened to be an accessibility room so the bathroom was larger than a standard room, and I think we'll planned out for a person with mobility issues. The furniture showed age but you had a newer large wall TV, microwave and fridge and the coffee maker made 1-2 cups instead of the usual small 1 cup. There was even a newer USB and plug attached to the nightstand. The bed was good, but I have to wonder why all hotels that are Wyndom have uncomfortable, square pillows! This came with a free breakfast, which was a sit down restaurant, not your self serve buffet, and you had 4 choices of a proper meal that included potatoes and toast. The server was very pleasant and the manager also checked on us, so we left a good tip. We usually don't leave a tip at the self serve buffets.
Yes, an older hotel, but nicer than some we've been to and for a 1 night stay, can't complain.

Very clean rooms. Everyone was super helpful. I love that they have microwaves and fridges. Very convenient but above everything else the staff was spectacular. Above and beyond in kindness.
I got a room here all in with tax for under $70. For this price point, this is INDEED a 5 start motel! Booked on the central Choice website as we were getting close to town. Check in was easy and the front desk manager was SUPER nice. We chatted a bi

I could make an argument that this is the best gym in America. The Veterans discount alone made me feel at home. The people, the equipment, the accessibility, the locker rooms, everything is top tier. However, the fact that all of the women are marri
On a solo road trip. Sat at the bar and ate the salmon salad. It was absolutely delicious and also huge. The salmon and asparagus were warm/hot and cooked just right. The avocado was plentiful and perfectly ripe. There were loads of greens, and they
I had the best meal in Elko during my week stay at Machi's Saloon on a lamb shanks night. Great atmosphere, and a local hangout. Was recommended by a friend who used to come here 20yrs ago and is a friend of owner John Lemich who serves at the bar.
