Ramada by Wyndham Cleveland Independence - Hotel in Independence - 5300 Rockside Rd, USA

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, pillows were soft and the beds were tucked tight. The bathroom was also clean, the towels were fluffy (not the cheap ones) and there was dove soap, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was a bag with yogurt, fruit, granola bar, juice and a donut. A lot more then other places have to offer! We enjoyed the pool area which in my opinion was nice too. Hot tub was closed. The place seemed like a family environment. I enjoyed my stay with 2 children and have no complaints. It’s a lot easier to post a negative review than a good one. Just giving this place some credit!

Terribly neglected hotel. Dingy and dirty. No hair dryer, refrigerator, or microwave in our room. Ice machine on floor not working. Room in disrepair. Dark parking lot with unsafe atmosphere. Doubt hotel would pass health dept inspection. Grab and go breakfast included only high sugar non-nutritious food items. I can not imagine anyone giving this place a good review. Location is good and new restaurant in process of opening might be good. Staff was friendly.

The room was cleaned upon entering and the floors were just drying. This hotel does need a lot of upgrades it is rather old looking however looks like the rooms have been updated a bit the shower floors are a bit slippery, towels were clean, bed neat, I think that the doors in the hallway should get upgraded they make a lot of noise when other people are walking in loud at 1 am to 3 am I tried falling asleep but the door was loud. They should rip those carpets out in the hallway they look old and dirty. The front desk staff ladies are both nice. Overall u get what u pay for and apart from what I think of the ambiance my rating is based solely on that we were comfortable just sleeping there.

I think it's a 2.5 star so I'm giving it some credit. Room's not bad. Comfy bed. Clean in the room but the halls are a little weathered. Plenty of parking. Couldn't hear my neighbors. It's a place to stay cheap.

Positive: Clean rooms, had an adjoining room with my some family, to go breakfast was good. Housekeeper was very friendly. Negative: Hot tub not operational, (was really looking forward to a hot tub), pool water was cloudy, elevator doors shut too quickly, exterior room windows were very dirty, didn?t like having to wear a band to get in the pool, shower bar fell down while we slept.

When I checked out, I received a correct receipt for 2 rooms. I was really surprised to see charges for 3 rooms on my credit card statement. I called the hotel front desk twice, politely explained the issue and was hung up on both times. All I got was an acknowledgement that I reached the correct number and then a hang up. | I had to go to my credit card company to get a refund.

Ennnnhhhh…. Pros: Front desk amazing… Cheerful welcoming helpful…. Lobby is clean and completely unused. Hmmm??? If the four walls in your room are closing in then the lobby and seating area might be what you need. Prices good for what you get. Bag breakfast is okay considering the hot breakfast buffets sometimes are NOT very good elsewhere. Seriously folks don’t complain. That being said if they could do a good breakfast buffet then that would be appreciated. Ennnnhhhh…. Rooms are dated. My Keurig coffee maker was not working…. Bed was clean sheets clean and towels were clean. Room was acceptable but not spotless- but then neither is my house so no complaints. Hallways dingy and stairwells filthy!!! Parking is around the backside so I used the stairs to the fourth floor. I am in shape and packed lightly. I could see where this might be an issue if loaded down and kids. Cons: Con. Just one…. No filtered water to fill up a water bottle …. Everyone drinks water now…. Get with the times. Franchise run so this is a Ramada in NAME ONLY.. I would stay here again because of location and pricing and it is quiet…

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They say they have breakfast, then they give you a sack lunch 😂 with a banana in it. They do not clean the rooms. No vending machines. Water/drinks available at the front desk, but they do not have change. Humidity through the roof, the floors are literally wet. A/C units from the Stone Age. Jeez, I could go on and on. Zero stars.
