We had a great one night stay. The room was clean, it was quiet, and we felt safe. The Mexican restaurant next door was an added bonus for a delicious meal. Breakfast was good and an employee was always there making sure tables were clean and food was available.
I just wanted to take a moment to share a few things about our stay that resulted in us leaving after night 1 of a three night stay. 1. There was visible dirt/stains on the bedding that was visible from the door. We saw it as we opened. 2. The rugs were stained so badly that they desperately need replaced. 3. There were blueberries on the floor in three different places in the room. I'm not sure the room was cleaned prior to us getting there. 4. The clock time was flashing. We had to set it. This isn't a big deal except coupled with everything else, it made us feel like no one came in to clean the room prior to us getting there. 5. The suite door did lock, thank goodness, but it did not close all the way even after locking. 6. The shower handle almost fell off the wall when we turned it on. We had to screw it back in after each use so we could turn the shower on. 7. Breakfast drink options was only water and coffee. There was no milk or juice. 8. Cleaning supplies were out and adjacent to the food that was on the counter. 9. You could hear the neighboring rooms' plumbing VERY loudly in the walls and ceiling. 10. The wifi didn't work. My family of 4 each had a device and none of us could connect. I was grateful for a comfortable bed and pillows. I was grateful for ultimately a hot shower. I think the bathroom was the only thing that was clean in the room. I was also grateful that the young man at the front desk was kind and secured permission to let us leave after one night without penalty. I had read some positive and some not-so-positive reviews online. I should've heeded the warning. I wanted to be sure to contribute to the warning for others to stay away.
Stayed here three nights for work. Service was great. I accidentally left my toothbrush charger in the bathroom and the front desk receptionist called me to arrange its return. I also appreciate the fact the refrigerator has a freezer section that large enough to store a pint of ice cream. Most hotel freezers are too small to do that. I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
Positive: The rooms were ideal. Not easy to find 3 Assessible rooms in 1 hotel.Very clean. Not noisy except a guest above us around Midnight. Didn't hear traffic on nearby freeway Negative: ""
Been a few times. Rooms are clean, A/C works, showers are warm but leak around side, front desk is nice, breakfast is adequate but the same everyday. Can smell like weed and last stay asked for a different not smelling room. TV is a little difficult. Got charged for cleaning up a mess that was in the room when checking in with one of their washcloths...not a highlight
The shower had black mold all over the ceiling. The front office said that was normal and bleached it, but that just covers it up. It doesn't kill the mold. It needs to be properly treated with mold and mildew KILLER, commonly found at any Home Depot or Lowes. The continental breakfast was decent, but it ran out of yogurt very quickly with no replacement. Guest services is nice, but I'm not sure of many people who want to be greeted at the front desk by someone with a face full of piercings. It's best to maintain a very professional appearance. Other than that, a decent motel.
Unfortunately, I received very bad service. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS REALLY CLEAN WAS THE BATHROOM. Everything was very old and dirty. They never changed the sheets, pillowcases, or blanket in the days I stayed there. The only thing they changed were the bath towels. The blanket was stained and had other people's hair on it. NOTHING THEY OFFER ONLINE IS REAL. AS I SAID, EVERYTHING IS OLD AND DIRTY. IN ADDITION, THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE $100 DEPOSIT THAT ONE LEAVES WHEN CHECK IN.
This motel is just right for the money paid. The rooms were clean, the bed was comforta le, the employees were nice and accommodating, the breakfast had variety and filled us up. I would stay here again.
Beautiful stay. We rented the "Resting Light Lodge" with our daughter. We all enjoyed the beautiful outdoor baths and the local cafes. Our lodging was clean and well supplied with everything we needed as well as some special extras (fresh eggs, fench
I really appreciated the opportunity to immerse myself in this 200 hour yoga teacher training. It provided an opportunity to disconnect from work and dive into the content. The yoga instruction and approach of this training was exactly what I hoped f
Perfect place for lunch! The best food. The best homemade tortillas! Wow! Yum! Burritos are huge! They are awesome if you have special orders (like no dairy). My order is always perfect!
The cutest ice cream shop I have ever been in! They have an incredible table that's on a swing. You can sit at it with up to four adults and enjoy your ice cream while swinging! They also have the sweet single carousel ride for youngsters. Local phot
Super beautiful park, literally a 5-10 minute walk from Cal-Poly Humboldt. Whoever maintains these trails is doing great, however it is a little stinky right now. Not sure why. Anyway, I love taking my dog here, there's also a super cute skate park/p
