One of the nicest parks in Roanoke, in my opinion. It’s not very big but it’s a pretty decent size! I sometimes pick up my friend’s children from Woodrow Wilson Middle. I’ll take the children here until their parents get home. The basketball court is in decent shape, as well as the tennis court. The neighborhood is nice and all the people I’ve encountered here are nice. One time I joined a game of tag with some elementary/middle schoolers. Had a blast with lots of laughs. Laugher filled the air!!! Nothing like the sound of kids laughing and having fun! They and their parents welcomed me to join with open arms. Literally! I received hugs from several of the kids and a couple of the parents hugged me. This is a very welcoming, friendly place. I’m sure the kids raised around here are very happy!!! Highly recommended!
Yes seem to be a lot of people walking around and a lot of dogs which were all nice overall pretty cool place to be at!
‼️ My husband and I found RALEIGH COURT PARK to be NICE, CLEAN, & ROOMY enough for many events to take place at one time. In particular and to pass some time while enjoying a beautiful day, my husband wanted to hit a few chip-shots with a handful of golf balls and RCP had plenty of room while other visitors enjoyed the location with their dogs.
Very nice park, except for the cold weather and rain today. There for an 8U baseball practice.

I like using the exercise stations here, I like the art installations, the tree lined path, especially during hot weather months. I love that it's alongside the river and Black Dog Salvage. It's a small park so parking is limited.
My kid loves this park. It usually has a decent amount of other kids there as well. The canal is a fun touch with little docks and a little trail in the woods so it's fun for parents too lol. Cameras is a nice safety touch they added.
