The ladies serving are awesome. Super friendly and sweet as ever. I don't know what happened to this place though . They close early most days and still sell the dry food from the vitrines. I used to sit and eat there but the restaurant is no longer presentable. Sometimes I wonder how sanitary the kitchen is. The food is still good and well priced, but just check the fried food and ask for it fresh and wait if necessary. Order fresh food and take it home.
Great food. Always have enough and the prices are amazing. They only take cash but it's worth it. Ladies serving food are very friendly and always help with size portions.
The food is absolutely horrible and disgusting got food poisoning went to the hospital and stayed 3 days definitely do not recommend there's always guys hanging around in front of the store the atmosphere is horrible .

I got 14 empandillas, 6 surrilltos, 3 alcapurrias, 2 relleno de papa for I believe $25. I visited another pr spot in Bridgeport before I got 3 empandillas, 1 bacaloito, 1 alcapurria, and 3 surrilltos for $15. (Was good but expensive) so I do recommend Rainbow restaurant. BUT make sure u bring CASH!
Rainbow Restaurant provided catering services for my place of employment. Pastelillos are only $1. The food was good and the service was even better. Jose even walked the food to my car.
Good, fresh Puerto Rican food. Good servings for a very reasonable price. The "ambiance" can be improved. The pasteles (green banana/plataine pulp stuffed with savory pork meat cubes) are excellent. You can eat some there, then. buy some frozen ones to take home. Yum Yum!
Excelente customer service, very clean, food 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 was sooooooo good. Welcoming family feel. A must go Restaurant.
