RainBrews What a interesting place and I loved it. It is so eclectic. I want to come back to have a brew. I ate at the actual restaurant and it wasn’t bad. Rhiannon was so kind and I thanked her for working. She has a huge smile and was excited about the menu. Add the vegetable beef barley soup, open face pot roast beef sandwich other than gravy on bread, it was OK, I had parts of it but that was very cool almost cold, it did not make me jump up and down. I would go back, I would not eat what I had today but I would try some like their burgers look absolutely amazing. I love this community, I had a great conversation with some locals, Quite informed. I think they could kick it up a notch for the food but everything else was perfect that’s why I gave them a five, not a four. I WOULD RECOMMEND.
Food was good. It took a little while but that was because it was homemade. The fries are from local potatoes. Which was why we came to Monte Vista. To pick up potatoes. I got the mushroom Swiss they use fresh mushrooms. The burger was cooked very nice still juicy. Too many fries to eat. The pretzel was huge. The cheese sauce was just ok. They put sea salt on that and the fries. The decor is funky. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Honestly I wanted to give this place a good shot because it looks amazing but it was an extreme let down . The staff and owner I think that who she is was are extremely rude and disrespectful . Me and a couple friends choose to check it out and let me tell you it was the most uncomfortable and rude situation we have ever been in lord forbid you are alternative (Goth , rocker , gay , punk or anything that isn't country) you'll stick out and the staff will definitely treat you differently . This place is for the older crowd and locals really you can see that the serves and staff all have they're favorite locals and they'll serve them first before you regardless of who got there first . If your coming from the collages avoid this place trust me it's not worth it and you'll save yourself the irration and frustration.
This is an absolutely fantastic place to spend time. We stopped by to grab coffee while waiting for family, and it was simply amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and chill. There's plenty of seating options ranging from the bar to tables to couches. If I ever end up nearby in the future, I'll definitely be making a detour to stop here again.
I am glad that I was fortunate enough to come across Rain Brews, it was a delightful surprise to see all of the Christmas decorations adorning the interior and exterior of the Café. They had a good mocha latte and a surprising amount of food options, including the calzone, tomato soup, and avocado toast, which I had the pleasure of tasting during my visit. Cozy seating options with plenty of couches and cushioned chairs.
I thoroughly enjoy this place great beer selection from three local breweries. Great coffee a very consistent cup even with different servers. I am so glad this business has opened!
This place was and used to be a trading post and breakfast until about 30 years ago. Not it's A HISTORY PLACE WITH about 24 on tap about 6 dimistic and other 9 others 10-4.. this place has breakfast also..
Solid espresso and apparently piano singalong?? Coming through Monte Vista from DC and was pleasantly surprised to find this stop. Friendly people, large space, insanely comfortable seating, and good vibes.
Outstanding, authentic Mexican served by really nice folks. Wish I could put this place in my pocket and take it back to New England (where most of the Mexican food is terrible). Everything was good but I'd specifically recommend the tamales - as goo
We drove by this place once because we thought it was a furniture shop. The front of the building is, but the restaurant is in the back and also has a drive through. Although it was a little hard to find, we enjoyed it and will stop in again!
Beautiful little park with the surrounding mountains as the backdrop. They have basketball goals, several covered picnic areas, a playground, and a 1/2 mile track around the perimeter of the central field. Oh, and free WiFi!!
It was very nice and a lil unique. The room numbers had famous actors or actress name right below the numbers. It was quiet. It wasn't even a planned stay. The employees there were very courteous, helpful and welcoming. There is a drive in right behi
This is most definitely the BEST restaurant in the Valley! Everything about this establishment is very good and the staff, cooks, and owners are extremely courteous and has the best atmosphere for their restaurant. The cook John is by far the best a
This is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful, the price is fair, and the service is impeccable. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and polite. This is the best hotel in the entire valley.
We had a pleasant stay. Enough parking spaces. Location was good. The desk guy on duty was helpful. No water in the pool, it would be better to put some blinds on the door so it is not so noticeable when coming (pool door is in the lobby on the right
