Awesome place to go hiking!! The views are gorgeous, even in the winter time. The trail Is definitely rocky, so wear good hiking boots. There are lots of different trails to take, so you can end up spending lots of time here depending on what ones you go on. Also note that the parking area is not very large and is just on the side of a back road. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!!

It’s a long hike. We clockwise took the blue/red trail then change to blue/yellow trail finally went back to blue trail. It took us (a gang of five) almost six hours to finish a over six miles hike. There are a bunch of outlook spots to take stunning pictures. The breathtaking views are worth the effort. Recommend to go earlier. During the weekend the trail is very crowded. Find a parking spot at the trailhead could be a challenge.

A reasonably sized preserve (easy to hike up to 8ish miles) tucked in the suburbs of Berlin. Trails are light rolling with a few pretty good climbs mixed in, and generally pretty rocky. The ridgeline views are gorgeous and sweeping, the trade off is road and landscaper noise for most of that section. Loads of little valleys and ponds, plus a fun to see cascade and the occasional old car or trampoline laying around. Would definitely recommend. Parking was empty at 7am on a Friday but massively overflowing by 1130.

Nice views from the top. Multiple trails throughout the forest which give the hikers multiple options to reach the summit however all of them are not well marked. At multiple locations there are shattered glasses from beer bottles. Trash can be found as well. Overall a good hike but the experience is mildly spoilt by irresponsible people who have thrown trash along the way.

Awesome park with some beautiful views after a hike. Only thing is that the trails are terribly marked. You are very lucky if you find a mark!! This stressed us out a little bit especially on the way back as we didn't want to get lost.

Great hiking trail. You’ll get beautiful view for the top. We took 5.6 mile loop trail, started with blue-red trail and connected to Metacomet trail and again joined back to blue-red trail while coming down. It’s long trail but it’s fun.
