This hotel is the oldest operating Radisson hotel. It was built in 1970 and you can easily find clues that show its age. It's a very iconic building and the rotating restaurant is a unique thing to experience, although the food (at least what I ordered) was very average, nothing to write home about, but also doesn't cost a fortune like many other hotel restaurants so that is ok.||||The rooms are nice and bright and clean, you can tell the renovation work really went into the rooms. Beds are very comfy, my room had an amazing view of Duluth harbor.||||Biggest issue I found to be the elevator. There are 2 elevators to service 15 floors of guests. So you often get stuck waiting for the elevator so long that you will contemplate taking the emergency stairs. I understand it is an old building and the way the tower is designed there really can only be 2 elevators so I don't really blame them for this. Its just a minor inconvenience.||||Parking was another issue, there are simply not enough parking spots for how many guests this building can accomadate. The lot fills up fast and then you are kind of just on your own. I was lucky enough to find a spot across the street from the nearby bowling alley.||||All-in-all, I had a good time, but the building is showing its age which is to be expected. Can't really blame Radisson for the passage of time. However, there are plenty of improvements to be made, and with the price tag youd think they could afford to make those improvements. Again, decent hotel, just temper your expectations before you judge it too harshly. The building is old and massive, the workers here are doing their best.

So I'm NOT!!!!! Repeat, NOT, giving any STARS!!! This hotel does NOT deserve the name Radisson. The bed sheets had hair on them. The bathroom floor had A LOT of hair. The tub too. The staff was really RUDE; security guard was nice but could not do his job. Some really scary people in and outside the hotel. Didn't feel safe at all. Food at 360 degrees was disgusting and not cooked right at all. Staff was rude and paid WAY too much for the food. So NOT worth it. Property real estate wise BEAUTIFUL. Everything else needs a TOTAL revamp. I would like my money ALL refunded. It was the WORST vacation EVER!!!!!!

Although a bit dated and in a relatively sketchy seeming part of town at night, the view can be great, and you’re within walking distance of Canal Park and other various attractions, so very great location if you wanna be close to everything. Our room seemed perfectly clean and well prepared. Parking situation was completely fine even for how busy it was while we stayed. Although I will say, the elevator situation leaves a bit to be desired, as they are slow; but that comes with the age of the building so, no big deal from me, just a heads up to others! Pool area and hot tub both seemed perfectly cleaned and well maintained. Overall, by the end, we were very satisfied with our stay!

The front lobby of the hotel is beautiful. The room not so much, very very outdated, small TV, there was no TV guide so playing the guessing game when it came time to relax and find something to watch. The bedding was not clean, we had to call the front desk to get a clean set of sheets brought up to our room. The bathroom was very small. The hot tub in the pool area was super small and outdated, they needed to fil up the hot tub way more and the jets were blasting all different types of ways. The only reason they charge as much as they do is for the restaurant upstairs which is the only good thing about this place. Will not be staying here again, do not recommend.

Due to the slighly lower cost($75 or so) compared to the normal canal park prices, we decided to give Radisson a shot. I remember years ago staying here without any issues on a work trip. I neglected to check the reviews on the hotel before our reservation. I understand the hotel is older, but that doesn't mean it should stay that way. You can tell by looking around, a lot of the hotel is aged. Our room was fair, noisy, aged, but everything worked.(no complaints there). The staff was nice and accommodating. I just struggle spending 200 a night for a hotel like this. I guess spending a little extra for Canal Park Lodge or Pier B is worth it. I don't want to bash Radison too bad, it just needs some updating. Would I stay again? Maybe if the price was right. I hope things are updated or I feel the reviews will stay linear or decline worse over time.

This is a great Hotel. It's older but it has all the amenities needed. It's quiet with excellent views of Duluth. We have stayed here several times and no issues. If you don't like your view the restaurant up top will give you a great view and all the seating is equal! As the restaurant rotates allowing everyone to see all of Duluth.

Location was great. Hotel was disgusting. I would never stay here again, nor recommend any of my friends or family. Stayed for 5 days, 2 rooms were booked. After the first night, we noticed no housekeeping came to clean the trash we had, nor make the beds or anything. Asked front desk when we should expect housekeeping to come, we were informed housekeeping only comes every 5 days to clean. So if we needed anything then we had to do it ourselves. Absolutely rude staff at the front. Requested new towels and additional toilet paper since our roomed barley had any, and was completely dumbfounded how poor their customer service is. If I could give this review a 0, I would. Please stay anywhere else but here.

Came here with my significant other to celebrate our 11 year anniversary and was extremely disappointed. The nightly rate is extremely overpriced for what you are given. The hotel hallways were dirty and dirty towels were left outside of rooms for hours. We stayed in the hotel connected to the main building, so maybe they aren’t able to maintain it as well as the main building, but still. At a rate of $200 a night I would expect a little cleanliness. Lightbulbs were out in hallways, the light in our bathroom only worked half the time, the floors of the room were dirty and had debris from past guests. From our room, we had a view of the parking lot where random people would hang out all night. Seemed very unsafe. The cherry on top was when we were leaving our room the next morning after staying the night, and there was pee and poop trailing down the hallway all the way to the elevator. I would never stay here again. I’d rather stay at the super 8 motel.

We had an incredible stay and loved that it was in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood - there were lots of shopping and breweries within close walking distance. The room itself was amazing, very spacious and stylish and we felt right at home.
