Radisson Hotel Detroit Metro Airport - Featured Reviews (28)
Did a park and fly at this hotel for a few days.
It went very sour.
Firstly, we waited 20 minutes at an empty front desk with no service bell. We went and looked for someone who responded “I was busy “ when we let them know we had been waiting. No apology but we let that go.
Rooms were meh, but understandable given the price. Bathroom floors were dirty, we didn’t complain.
The thing that tipped this over the edge was the fact that we left an item there, we called the same day (Monday) and the person at the front desk said it was there and we could pick it up on Thursday when we returned and took our room number and name. When we returned at 3-3:30pm , the front desk said that the items were locked in the managers room who had left for the day and wouldn’t be back until the next. Of course we don’t live by and couldn’t stay. They gave us the “managers number” that turned out to be the front desk. We called the next day and the person at the front desk now said the item was not there. We were confused and asked that the manager contact us, he said I have your phone number and they will get back to us within 24-48 hours. We never heard back, have reached out in multiple ways with no response from the manager or Radisson.
Honestly, we’ve accepted the item was stolen by the manager or staff member but the fact that the manager did not have the courtesy to reach out and at bare minimum give an apology for the situation is the sole reason I will never stay at this hotel or another Radisson and it’s affiliates again. It doesn’t take much to give a courtesy call and they couldn’t even do that.
I will say the shuttle showed up on time / every half hour / within a few minutes of us waiting and our car was safe when we returned.
I had a hotel voucher because my flight was cancelled. I called the hotel front desk to ask when the next shuttle is coming. She said 15-20 minutes. 32 minutes go by and nothing. I get with another shuttle driver and he said the hotel claims no one called. I make it by him anyway. I arrive in my room. No wifi. Peanuts on the floor. No amenities. Morning checkout and the front desk lady is cutting up on a guy that asked for a copy of his receipt because "printer isn't working" another family says ac isn't working and lady thinks they left but didn't. She complains to other lady that family didn't make sense. I could hear all the way by coffee which by the way ran out as well as hot water. Guest service was trash. The room was not clean. Family said room was hot and felt like 77 degrees Celsius and the idiot at the front desk said it didn't make sense because he said it was hot but said the temperature was Celsius. She's lucky they didn't hear or react. I work in customer service and I get fed up too but that was uncalled for. Neither of them should have a job in hospitality.
Do not stay here! They will keep anything you leave behind. Left a tablet their last week, called front desk, said they had it and I could pick it up. Upon my return to pick it up they said they do not have a tablet that was left behind, left contact info with hotel and no returned call or apology. So where did my Amazon tablet disappear to? Poor service all around!
I’ve never experience such poor front desk service in my entire life. I worked for Marriott for over 10 years and this was by far a first. The line was out the door when we arrived at 10:30pm. The lady couldn’t find our reservation, we told her we asked for two queen beds because we are a family of 4. When we got to our room it was just a king. We go down and ask for another room and they gave us a key to another room. When we entered there were people inside!!! Then we go tell them and they give us another key and when we tried opening that room the lock was on bc someone was in there too!!! We got a refund and LEFT, at 11:30pm with two small children to find another hotel. This was such a mess!!! Never again.
We came here after disaster at Wyndham Garden across the street (waiting over 3 hours to check in on prepaid reservation and Wyndham could not check us or anybody else in).
Radisson front desk staff was great. The ladies booked us in without reservation, made us feel welcome and checked us in very quickly.
Bonus: there are 7 and 14 day parking packages that can be added to room fee that are very reasonable.
4am someone tried entering our room. Luckily we had wedge alarms to alert us. Place is in a sketch part of Romulus. Lots of Police presence. Wouldn't recommending staying here if you have a family with kids.
This hotel was just purchased by Radisson, they had no phone in rooms. No desk phone number, she gave me a card, I called the number, it was disconnected! One elevator was put of service and after talking to a fireman, was told they had been called out to get a trapped person out of the elevator???
Bar and restaurant closed for remodel?? Snack bar extremely expensive: 1 soda, 2 bags of chips $12.00!!!
Room service never came into our room in 3 days, no fresh towels, no coffee making supplies, but then left a top envelope on the night stand!!!
I would recommend avoiding this hotel until they complete renovation!!!
Had a long day of traveling and getting flights delayed and ultimately cancelled... Staff was great and Christine was super helpful in the morning when trying to get back into the swing of things after all the chaos. She helped me call the shuttle, store my large sports equipment bag so i didnt have to carry it to the room, and overall did a great job anticipating my needs. 11/10 would stay again
If you have a flight out of DTW I highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed here 1/2 dozen times the last few years and have never been disappointed. The facility is clean and well maintained. Most recently we had a very early flight and weren't ab
A great location with plenty of amenities, including a full service restaurant with some of the best chicken and pancakes I've had! Besides the air conditioner being a little busted, and the low water pressure of the shower, the room was great. The b
Embassy Suites is one of my favorite places to stay no matter where they are. This one was nice. The free breakfast is always good with made to order omelets and pancakes. You can get scrambled eggs already made and thereâs usually a good choice o
We got 2 rooms for our party. Both rooms were clean and up to date. Front desk guy when we checked in was super sweet and the other staff we encountered were all friendly, "Hi, how are you? Have a good day." The breakfast was the typical carby stuf
Floors were filthy inside. Mud tracked in, carpets on second floor needed vacuuming. Elevators had not been cleaned in sometime. Ceiling in room was peeling near door. Space heater ran off and on, carpets were stained inside our room and worn.

I love smokers alley. I live it the neighborhood so I come often. The store is always spotless and smells nice. They have a big selection of things idk what most of it is. I just like the candles and snacks. When I do smoke I get my white owls here.
I want to thank Romulus Flowers & Gifts SOO much! They helped us with a prank for a lost bet on my brother Mitch. He was dressed in an embarrassing Donald Duck costume and had to stop by and pick up 'daisies' from Romulus Flowers. Michelle the owne
So sad they will be closing at the end of this month! 36 years plus! Such an amazing atmosphere that you can't recreate or buy! No matter the money. Absolutely stunning good food, great people and best places ever! Again so sad they are closing, and
This 5 star review is based on the customer service I received from the salesperson Baneen. I originally came to the store to ask shipping questions but she was so knowledgeable about T-mobile network, deals and their items that I ended up purchasing
