Had large birthday party here in the lodge. Beautiful setting inside and outside which made for some unforgetable group pictures. Would be an awesome place for wedding and reception. Staff were easy to work with as we were able to bring in our own food and decorations. Kitchen with commercial freezer and refrigerators. Setup and cleanup very easy as we delegated to family members beforehand. Only thing that we had to work around was that nothing could be attached to the walls/ceiling, but with the use of easels and tables for photo boards, etc, it all worked out well. We were going to have a balloon arch as picture backdrop, but honestly when we viewed the place, decided with the lake, flowers and large stone fireplace, we'd be good and just used balloons placed strategically. Large TV available for any audio visual needs. Very handicap accessible.
Great place to spend the day in family friends or alone. Nice Dog park. Good place to walk and excercise your body and mind.
Very nice park there is a baseball field and a soccer field. It is a sports complex/recreational area next to the river beautiful scenery and a nice beach. I wish that they had tent camping available at this location. I’ve been trying to find a campsite in the area for the last couple months and I’ve had no luck at any of the state parks or any of the other campgrounds. They are always full or not renting out campsites due to storms, etc..

We rented the nature lodge for a baby shower. Paid 480$ to rent the nature lodge from 10:00-3:00. The kitchen you had to pay an extra fee to utilize. It had a bathroom sink in it, a counter top, microwave, and a dirty toaster oven. Should’ve been included in our rental price for the amount we paid. The main space was nice and spacious with a beautiful view of the lake, other than that I absolutely do not recommend renting this space. It’s not worth the hassle. For the money you pay it should be more inclusive!! The lady working told us we had until 3:15 to be out of there with no extra charge...they allow an extra 15 minutes to make sure you had everything cleaned up and put away correctly. By the time she told us how to put back the chairs to match the diagram they had, it probably took us another 10 minutes. In the end we didn’t check out until 3:30 and I was charged for another half hour rental...45$ on top of the 480$ I had already paid. Not that 45$ is a big deal to me but it was the principle of it. So in the end they got a nice 525$ out of our rental. For 5 hours. Women working wasn’t very friendly or personable. Yeah it’s a pretty space but that’s about it. Overpriced. Don’t recommend renting this space.
We had our wedding and wedding reception here and it was absolutely breathtaking! We decided to have it on a Sunday. We had chairs set up outside and then once wedding was over we brought the chairs back in, none of the guest really noticed. Overall if you are planning a wedding I would highly recommend!

We went out for drinks, the staff was very attentive and had great suggestions. Every drink was created to perfection. I really enjoyed the Winchester old fashioned and the case of the Mondays. We are looking forward to a return visit.

I can't think of a better place that deserves a five-star rating all the way! The food was excellent and nicely presented. The cooking was perfect to deliver the precise flavor. The drink was also very very good! Service was undeniably very good. T
