Love coming here for happy hour!! The atmosphere is always very nice and the food was good. It wasn’t the best sushi I’ve tasted, but it wasn’t the worst. I think you’re really paying for the atmosphere more than anything! Regardless, the service was great and our server was on top of it! Our party was trickling in and out, so it could’ve been confusing for our server, but everything came out correctly. We did have to wait awhile for some items, but surely that was more of a back of house issue.
Today we visited RA unfortunately it was not a good experience. The service was extremely deficient. It took 25min to get some water. The food arrived 1h and 20min later. It was around 1:20pm and the restaurant was not busy. Around us were 7 tables that stayed dirty for all must 50min. It was clear that the team was not organized and the manager was sitting with his laptop, no talking with the customers about what was going on. The quality of the food was good but it didn't worth the price. Kudos to the bartender and the host that were helping on everything they could.
Great location and atmosphere, perfect for us, we were looking for some place new to try on my bday. Service was good. We came at lunch fairly early and hardly anyone there. So we expected good service. The restaurant had a tasteful elegant sexy vibe that seemed to work. As expected, the prices were a bit high, so of course, so were our expectations for the food. Hospitality rule #1. EXCEED EXPECTATIONS We ordered two appetizers, one fried shrimp dish, and the other was wontons with pineapple sauce. The first thing that hit was the poor food representation one comes to expect at a high-end sushi restaurant. It reminded me of an Applebee's rather than an elegant sushi bar. We also ordered the ramen and three sushi rolls. The Ramen was ok, again underwhelming and below expectations, the sushi was ok, nothing about it stood out great and again the presentation was non-existent. This seems silly, considering kicking up the presentation is so damn easy. We have a local sushi place in Raymore that serves great sushi with beautiful presentations at about 30% less cost. Sorry, but comparison is unavoidable. So food gets 3 stars, presentation 2 stars and unfortunately that trumps the atmosphere...especially when you receive the bill. Expectations were not met, much less exceeded.
Visited here recently and had a pretty good experience like I have had in the past here. The restaurant itself looks great inside. It gives off a very cool vibe and is an enjoyable almost upscale kind of place. The host was super friendly and got us to our table right away. Our waitress was super personable and did a great job considering how busy her section was. I was glad it was happy hour when we made our reservation as I got all 3 of my rolls from the happy hour menu! The rolls were pretty tasty and presented nicely on their respective dishes. I wouldn't say the rolls were the best I've had and they were extremely Americanized (expected coming here but still). Two of my rolls were spot on and had phenomenal taste. The 3rd was definitely too Americanized for me and was just slightly off for me. Overall, I think Ra is a fun place to get sushi for the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. But there are cheaper and less trendy places all around that serve up better rolls (and at a way cheaper price). The menu is decently sized but most things are relatively over priced. Also, they have no spicy crab salad which seems to be a staple at most sushi restaurants.
Not living up to the price point. We have ordered takeout and dined in here for years. We know it's expensive but it's usually worth a splurge every now and again. However, lately the quality is degrading. This time was the worst. The Chicken Fried rice (serves 2) and $17 came in a small soup size cup. It used to come in a large bowl. It also didn't have Chicken. The pineapple Rangoon also came burnt and under stuffed. Like I said, we've ordered before so we know how it should be. Needless to say, not worth the price any more.
Everything was great. My server was very attentive. My food came put fast and at the correct temperature. The apple sake was great. I absolutely love their happy hour.
Had the spiked strawberry lemonade, spicy chicken fried rice (which was made with crispy breaded chicken), and the cucumber roll. My date had the spicy shrimp roll and crunchy calamari roll. We enjoyed ourselves and the food!
Order lobster, jumbo shrimp, and scallops to go. I got home, and the lobster was not cooked fully, there was no scallops in my order, and the shrimp were not even regular size. I've been here before. The service is amazing. Food just sucks go somewhere else if you want better quality of food.

Lovely little place. Itâs intimate and cozy. Menu had so many options but made it easy to understand what every thing was. Great lunch specials and portions were massive. Food came out quickly. It was melt in your mouth sushi. Servers and all staff
I'd say it was a successful experience for the kiddos!!! Our host was as nice as the day allowed her to be ( they were short staffed, so was her attitude). I highly recommend booking online because if you don't chances of getting in low also they don
An amazing inclusive playground ideal for all ages. Features lots of sound stations and musical instruments. It even has a conveyor slide, which I haven't seen for years and is still awesome! The playground itself is fenced in which is now with small
A couple referred us to this place. We had high expectations on the food; and we were not disappointed. It exceeded our expectations. My wife had the Marsala Ravioli which she described as wonderfully prepared with textures and flavors. The proportio
