RA suites - Hotel in Pompano Beach - 1301 N Ocean Blvd, USA

Only one parking space for three bedrooms. Parking is expensive in this city. Small nasty roach condo for price. Our door lock kept messing up the whole stay, so we got locked out on multiple days. Luckily the housekeeper left open for us on first day so we kept a person there watching each day which was not good if on vacation. We stayed in condo 1 and took a whole day to even get a maintenance guy for door and it was only temporarily fixed. We left condo in better shape than we got it and they refuse to give anyone deposits back. Crooks

Wonderful place. Always clean and quiet. Great location. Apartments are stocked well. Have gone here 3 times. Parking spot included. Close to restaurants. Beach is across the street. Pool is wonderful and heated in the winter months. Can’t wait to go back again.

We recently stayed at RA suites in apt 5. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but only made it one because the room was infested with cockroaches. We called their answering service at 8 AM to inform them of the problem and that we were packing up and leaving immediately. They said management would call us which they never did. They only text messaged us offering us bug spray. I called several times to try to get management on the phone to discuss a refund. They refused to call me back. I reported them to Expedia and then they gave us a 25% refund which is ridiculous since the conditions of the room we rented were out of our control. I have no idea how they have such great reviews on the travel sites. Do not stay here it will be a true nightmare.

To find a spot across the street from the beach, at this price point, with a pool, and it's clean, cute, well decorated, small room... We were so grateful to have this spot to visit my daughter while at FAU and to be so close to everything from the Pampano Beach Pier and all that has to offer, to Deerfield Beach and the happenings of Boca Raton, It was a great stay! Walk across the street to a great restaurant and view of the light house on one side and pier on the other. Can't be beat!

I should have known it was going to be bad when the link for the GPS directions to the property sent us to the same address in a city an hour north of where we should have been. We had plans with friends so when we arrived we only had time to drop off our stuff and use the bathroom before going out for a few hours. When we returned we found roaches everywhere. On the kitchen counter, in the sink, on the walls, in the bathroom. Obviously we refused to stay there so we asked if we could be moved to another unit. We were told "Unfortunately, there's no available unit anymore. The other unit that's unoccupied has an AC issue. We'll forward this to our team so we can compensate you for the affected nights." We told them we're "very sorry but we can't stay here. We're going to have to leave and would like a full refund."||Their reply: "We have another unit that's gonna be vacant tomorrow. You can transfer to that unit and we'll compensate you for tonight. Would this work for you?". Of course that didn't work for us and we restated we weren't staying there. They said they understood and asked us to cancel the reservation thru Booking.com. All of this was through text messages so it's all in writing. So we called Booking.com and told them to cancel and the reason why and reiterated we expected a full refund, which the lady we spoke to completely agreed with. ||It was now after midnight and we ended up calling around until we finally found another place to stay for the weekend. There's more about that experience at the end of this review. ||That was September 2nd. It's now October 30th and still never got a refund from the property. I called the property daily for 2-3 weeks but a "supervisor" named Sheena kept saying it's being reviewed by the "escalation team", whatever that is, and to give it 24 hours. Every day. Still no refund! They only offered me a 10% refund while the mystery escalation team reviews my complaint. 10%?!?! Ummm... No! Oh, and it turns out Sheena conveniently left out the fact she is actually on the escalation team! One of their other employees who picked up one of my calls slipped that bit of information to me. Then I was told by another employee on the last call I made to them that there's only TWO people on the escalation team, Sheena and Albert, who were now conveniently unavailable and didn't return my calls. What a joke!!||I also tried working with Booking.com to get the property to refund me but after a couple weeks getting nowhere with them I gave up on that and contacted my credit card company to dispute it. They immediately gave me a temporary refund while the process ran its course and I finally got it permanently refunded almost 2 months after the ordeal at the property. ||Bottom line, don't ever stay at one of these properties. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand because we weren't the first to have this exact same experience, or worse. I also would recommend not using a 3rd party like Booking.com to make a reservation as they only add another layer of frustration to the problem and don't actually help at all. They only give the property an additional excuse for why they haven't given a refund. Only use the 3rd party sites to find a property you like and then call the property directly because you'll get a better deal. I learned that the same night when we found another place to stay the night of this disaster.

We had the appartement # 1 and it was ok for our family. We have 3 childrens and they all had a bed. It is on 2 levels. You have a room with 2 king beds, the master room and a full bathroom on the upper level. You have a room, dining and living room, kitchen and a full bathroom on the main level. What is nice about that is that nobody is jumping nor you are not jumping on somebody’s head. They have couple of beach toys and chairs. The beach is 2 minutes away but the pool at the appartement did the job so well we used it more than the beach. Not 5 stars because they have only 1 parking for that size of appartement, it need a little bit of love inside, the WiFi have a good download but the upload is pretty slow. I won’t hesitate to come back

Don’t book this hotel. We booked around noon, but they didn’t give us check in codes, just an email saying they got our reservation. There’s no lobby, no staff on site, no response on phones. We tried to get in and waited in the parking lot on hold with Agoda (booking platform for over an hour) 7pm-8pm. Finally at 9pm someone sent us an additional email with a link to pay a separate deposit (which we were told would give us access to the hotel after we paid) that link was blocked out by Agoda per their booking platform policy, they don’t want you to see other websites sent by the host hotel. We waited in the rain for over an hour, the hotel staff knew we were trying to get in, but wouldn’t call us back to help us. We were exhausted, and after no call backs, we just had to leave and find another place to stay last minute. This made me so angry, we trusted this hotel brand to be professional enough to get us checked into the room that we booked!. Only after 9pm, another email telling us to put down a deposit on a link that was blocked out. Now they are fighting the charge back. Google phone number on this hotel had no return call. Don’t book this place, you have a high chance of getting screwed over like we did. They may even be over booking rooms and have no intention of hosting all the guests. They are awful.

It's such a cute place!! It's very clean, organized. It has stocked necessities that some places don't offer: dinnerware, glasses, coffee mugs, all types of utensils, coffee maker, microwave, blender. There are also some other amenities they offer too. It also has plenty of cookware to use as well. There's a TV in each room, which is a nice additive that few other places don't offer. I would absolutely love to come back here and stay again.
