Mike is honest, responsive and very good at what he does. My laptop had a significant virus and Mike began the diagnostics while on the phone prior to meeting in order to make the time at my office more efficient. This meant he was able to work on the fix when he arrived at my office and I was able to get up and running much quicker. I would definitely use Mike again and recommend him to others.
Michael is a very knowledgeable and courteous tech professional. He rapidly and accurately diagnosed my issues, repaired my laptop and returned it to me quickly. He also provided me with guidance on a new system, backed up my old device and facilitated the install on the new system. I am very appreciative to Mike at QuickTex for quickly and efficiently fixing my laptop. My laptop had not been working well. After lots of troubleshooting and frustration, I contacted Mike. He responded quickly and was able to determine that I had run out of storage. Mike cloned my drive, backed up my files, updated and cleaned my laptop, installed a new drive and I now have 4x the space. I am also grateful for the peace of mind that if I encounter any trouble in the future, Mike is just a phone call, email or text away. GENEROSITY & INTEGRITY. I reached out to Quicktex thinking I had lost 15yrs of work in the process of transferring data from DropBox to external drives. Before I could make a mirror copy the brand new drive failed. Thinking I was past the restore period I called Mike in a panic. He was generous with his time and knowledge and rather than saying bring it in and I'll charge you a diagnostic fee he first said "are you 100% sure you can't restore your data"? Turns out I had 180 days, not 30, and it was all still there. I feel like most people just take the work, rather than the high road on which you sometimes talk yourself out of job. Had we not spoken I would have given up and moved onto recovery. You can't put a price on integrity but that's what I value most in a professional. If I ever have issues in the future I wouldn't hesitate to call on Quicktex. Mike saved me time, money and a s$%! ton of stress.
Mike did an excellent job figuring out a security system that others had abandoned in frustration. Mike is a problem-solver, made a complex system workable/understandable, and he went the extra mile to ensure my wife and I are comfortable with it. We think so highly of Mike that he has already been back to solve other challenges for us. Highly recommend Mike as a serious professional and a great guy. Already cooking up more projects for him.

I need my computer for everything, especially when travelling. My wifi card died for the 2nd time in 3 months because the guy who had fixed it where I live, in Atlanta, did not attach it properly, so I had to find someplace in CT when I was in town that could help me ASAP.
