Queen Margherita Trattoria - Italian restaurant in Nutley - 246 Washington Ave, USA

This place is cozy and warm, perfect for winter date night. The staff was very accommodating, polite, well paced, and the food was Amazing! From the bread service specially the plan pizza dough freshly baked in the brick oven, followed by a rich minestrone and topped by the Pollo Regina, tasty and super filling, enough to bring at least half of my dish back home 😌 💯 Recommended.

The restaurant was packed when we left. We had made reservations knowing how busy it can be at dinnertime. The food was good, as usual, but pricey (although given the economy it's understandable). The service was good, but had to request a few items that should have been provided without asking for them, like butter for the bread. But since they were so busy it was not a major issue. The appetizers were excellent. The pork chops with pasta, and the pasta in general, were very good. The desserts, as always, were delicious.

Great Italian restaurant. The staff really are exemplary, the food is classic Italian done really well, and there is a bakery with Italian sweets in the same building.

Our party sat in the front room and it was a bit drafty. A large party for one server. But the food made up for it all. Amazing, everything came out hot and tasty. All the dishes were beautifully plated. And a great bakery next door for take home goodies.

Visited tonight for the first time and I must say our experience was very good. It’s a BYOB restaurant so bring your own.We had a party of six and we were seated right away, it’s helps if you call in advance and make a reservation. The seating is very tight but ok. The fresh bread was delightful and it’s made on the premises. The food was very good and plated beautifully. The stuffed flounder was excellent, and the sea bass, mussels and shrimp were very good. The bakery attached to the restaurant is outstanding. The service was very good and the prices are very fair. Will definitely be back.

Food was decent. Service at the end ruined it. Absolutely appalling and embarrassing! Will never be back. Our server came to our table and loudly asked us, "Was everything with the service alright?" To which we responded "Yes" then he said "Tip is usually 20%" he embarrassed all of us and made us pay $30 more to the $20 we already gave him. There aren't words for how disgusting this act was. I am COMPLETELY disappointed. Not sure what type of training the servers have but this man clearly needs some rework to his attitude and career choice.

I come to NY from Italy 5-6 times per year and at this restaurant I feel like being at home. The food is absolutely amazing. The quality of the ingredients is very high, the preparation of the dishes is perfect and also the service is quick and kind. The owner Pasquale is an amazing person and his brother in the kitchen is a superb chef. Congratulations guys, you are a true Italian Embassy in NJ!

My family has been dining here for at least a decade. Five to six times each year we gather from 10 to 15 strong. We have had nothing but a 100% positive experience here. From the food to the service.. thank you …
