Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel Waikīkī Beach - Hotel in Honolulu - 150 Kapahulu Ave, USA

Our stay was incredible, made amazing especially by Kawai, Josh, and Calvin. Service was exceptional, timely, and always delivered with a smile with local recommendations. Concierge staff always took time to ask us where we were coming from, and how they could make our stay better. It truly felt like a family experience. We would 100% recommend this place to friends and family because of it. The one thing that we could say negatively was there were roosters who would wake us around 4am - but for non light sleepers, it probably isn’t an issue

Overall, good location. Average pricing. Really pleasant deck for breakfast (and early evening drinks!). Short stroll to beach. Basic room (slightly underwhelming) and wishing I had paid the extra for the Mountain View (the ‘city view’ room was not great). This said, we were out pretty much all day so room was fine. |I would return if/when I return to Oahu.

Overall sensational stay, especially for a large group. Even though the hotel was busy the staff was wonderfully attentive. The amenities are great, they have common space, cafe, pool, resto, and beach chairs! The area is perfect! Because it's on the edge of Waikiki and Diamond Head you can enjoy the tourist spots and some local spots. Rooms are great, modern, and beds are comfy. Plenty of space for luggage and relaxation.

Great stay albeit a short one at Queen Kapiolani. I needed it for 1 night of TLA before my lease started and it was perfect. The restaurant was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the room was incredibly clean! Their gym was also great and there was a variety of equipment options.

Room was nice and large with great views of diamond head and the beach. Location was perfect, close to the beach and in walking distance of locations in waikiki. The staff was very friendly and the valet staff was amazing, they were super efficient. My only complaint is that our balcony door was thin so we could hear street noise at night and roosters crowing at 4am and we were on the 16th floor.

Service was the best!!! Kawai, Josh and the rest of the valet and bell guys make this hotel!! They made it extremely stress free moving in and moving out. The house cleaning staff were super friendly and always wished me good morning. Super military friendly. Very pet friendly with the park across the street for easy access for the dogs. Awesome location within walking distance to almost all of Waikiki without being too crowded. The aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful! Our room was pretty simple with no microwave, but overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! :)

Fantastic stay with attentive staff and comfortable rooms. ||The staff is wonderful and attentive. There are amenities like beach chairs, cafe and lounge that make it great for a group. We loved the hotel, it is so modern and clean! ||Plenty to walk to and the beach is so close! ||Would highly recommend!

Buyer beware. I booked 2 rooms through Capitol One travel. Each a King bed ocean view. When we arrived on 8/24 and checked in, they had changed the rooms to a queen bed ocean view. When I questioned why their response was that they do not have to honor 3rd party bookings. They have the right to change your room.
