Quality Suites Altavista - Lynchburg South - Hotel in Altavista - 1558 Main St, USA

We got here after dark and didn't interact with anyone after check-in. Check-in was standard. There is a gas station with convenience food near by which was great because we couldn't find a restaurant nearby. Construction caused limited parking. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The shampoo and soaps were generously sized which was nice. TV was large, lots of channels. Room had a sofa, microwave and refrigerator, We liked the pillows. The mattress was hard and we were definitely ready to get up after 7 hours. Lots of bedside outlets.

The staff is wonderful!! The room was pretty clean, nicely appointed, and I really want one of their pillows now, as I woke up without my usual neck pain. The breakfast was also better than they usually are at this particular chain. Mattress was old, and the tub didn't drain right, but other than that, it was a comfy room for the price.

The ambiance of this hotel is remarkable. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing! The breakfast was delicious especially the sausage gravy and biscuits. The common areas were beautiful and well furnished. I will definitely be back to experience the coming home type feel I enjoyed with your entire staff. It felt like a scene in "Lackawanna Blues". They all made me feel special - like one of the family who came back home for the holidays. I would like to give a special THANK YOU TO my beautiful and sweet housekeeper, who was like a Big Mamma to me, Ms. Christine. She was so attentive and kept my room spotless and filled with towels. Also, to the entire staff if I miss anyone... All # Brandon's LOL, Sherry, Tamala, Ashley, Tajah, and Leslie.. Love you all and can't wait to return soon:) Blessings.

I have stayed here several times but this will be the last. I tried to take a shower last night and the tub was cracked. They gave me a different room and this shower only has cold water. The remotes in both rooms would not work. I booked my next trip across the street at Days inn let's see if they are any better.

The Quality Inn was subpar and had many deficiencies including the smelly carpet in the hallway. The room had a lamp that disconnected with a blown lightbulb. The in room phone was disconnected and when we checked in they never informed us that housekeeping was only every three days unless requested ahead of time. Poor Quality inn for sure

Seriously... This place is better than 99% of the Quality Inns/Quality Suites which I've stayed at. The check-in-check-out, clean/comfortable room, good breakfast, everything was first rate! Indeed, there was only one hint that this relatively new-looking and well-maintained hotel was once a Comfort Inn. And, I'm not going to say what it was or where I saw it.||I'd stay here again.

Stayed here for work. Room wasn’t spotless clean when we arrived. However it was a place to sleep. Sheets, linen and bathtub was clean. Service was hit or miss. Breakfast was always on time, very basic. There’s no putt putt. They do have an outdoor pool, it was closed during our stay. Place could use a little updating.

Ours room was in upstairs.Very spacious ,very clean,comfy bed.We had a nice sofa in our roome.Hot breakfast was great.Staff was nice.Overall a good night stay.
