Happened upon this little gem as we were searching for a place to grab a sandwich. I always like to try small out of the way places . This is truly a fantastic surprise! Outstanding service and a menu that leaves one dropping their jaw in awe of the variety. The gazpacho is extraordinary! Rich and flavorful with their own garden tomatoes, right outside the door! Yes a garden and compost right at hand. We shared a BLT on excellent Sourdough with those same homegrown tomatoes. A free slice of homegrown cantaloupe to finish. We can’t wait to come back. Worth the drive from Lexington!!
Quality Pie is a must! Just the bread alone is worth a visit. Started brunch with a mimosa. My version of a mimosa is champagne with a splash of OJ. I’m the type that should make my own and enjoy at home. Don’t recommend the mimosa.
Ordered the Tortilla Espanola which is basically a potato , egg, and onion pie. Next was the BLT served with potato salad and pickle. Best BLT I’ve ever had. Finished with a caprese salad. Fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Absolutely delicious.
Service: Ordered at the counter and sat at the long table in the middle. There is seating outside and at the bar area.
Atmosphere: similar to an old diner.
Absolutely wonderful tapas-style fare. Plus, of course, delicious pies. They seem to be going a brisk takeout business, but we sat outside. It was a bit blustery and misty, so we sat under the front instead of at the cute picnic tables around the side. Octopus was an outstanding entry, especially after some over-complicated meals I’ve experienced recently elsewhere.
Food is 5 stars, no hesitation, but I think the server was not in the mood to put up with our questions that day. I never thought to find myself in one of those “What’s the soup du jour?” “It’s the soup of the day” exchanges, but it happened twice while we were there, and it was a strange miscommunication that left me wondering if I’d been rude. I have some food restrictions, so I have to ask questions about certain things—also sometimes I’m just trying to figure out if I’ll like something.
Another person who served us some pie was friendly and happy to answer questions, so who knows. I might have even encountered a chef who was chipping in instead of a server. Would I go back? In a heartbeat! I might just also read up on the menu beforehand.
We like talking with Mary and Tomas. Please try the chicken coconut curry soup. I think I'm missing an adjective in that title, but it has some heat to it. My opinion, not too much heat:-). Hot lattes are my favorite, no flavors
On vacation, I was staying at Keswick Hall. My mom and I decided to venture into town for dessert. We love pie and were not disappointed. Fast, friendly with great service that serves amazing food. The pecan pie was so delicious.
We did not know what to expect and must say this was a gem! We enjoyed our breakfast biscuits which were delicious. Everything made from scratch. Finished with the best key lime pie we have ever tasted with real whip cream! Can’t wait to come back and try their dinner menu. Their menu is unique and have never seen this selection in the US! Many Spanish dishes!
Can a cookie change your day? Absolutely! Fantastic flavor and fresh. Nice neighborhood spot, easy walk or plenty of parking.
Back again today for lunch and mom said the egg salad was the best she’s ever had! Had a wonderful muffuletta with potato salad and a pickle.
Delicious Corned Beef Brisket Biscuit and friendly service. Got a slice of key lime pie to go!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Smyrna and I can say without a doubt it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. From start to finish, every aspect of the evening was exceptional. The food of course was delicious!
Been going here for about 8 years now. Itâs grown quite a bit over the past coupleâs years. We usually come in the summer for peach picking and itâs always a great time. Views are amazing, cider and donuts are delicious.
This year we came in
Food wise Pico Wraps is one of Charlottesville's greatest hidden gems! Especially for breakfast. Their wraps are thick and loaded with yumminess! ð Lots of options for beverages hot and cold too.
Made reservations for my husbandâs birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and they had our table ready. They took our jackets, we got seated and started on of the greatest dining experiences weâve had in a very long time. Drinks - excellent. (I
Wow, the food was absolutely amazing. Great option for vegetarians! The barbeque tofu has so much flavor and the roots rice was amazing. This is a very healthy food option and the portion was really big. I got the southern and I would highly recommen
Came for restaurant week but will definitely visit another time! The food is just bomb! Roasted duck and beef rib in curry is soooo delicious. I think we just found a gem!
Amazing food. Definitely come here for happy hour (5-6). Pork belly, spicy garlic Karage, and curry fries are definitely my fsvorites. Great, fast service and the atmosphere is cozy.
We were seated quickly by a very friendly staff member.
I got the margarita and it was lovely. Well balanced, with a salt rim that wasn't too heavy.
We got a tamale first and that's when I knew we were in for a treat, the masa was so smooth, the chic
Everything we've tried here over the years has been super delicious. The brie, fig, and speck crostini is one of my favorite snacks/small plates of all time anywhere. There's kind of a rotating cast of sandwiches, salads, and soups and it's always ta
This is such a great little place! It's so historic and you feel like you're walking right into the past! It was decorated for Christmas in authentic period decor. The staff was very helpful and kind. The gift shop was beautiful and there were so man
This place specializes in distilling rum and they do it extremely well. Hopefully the owner will read this and correct me but I believe they even have 3 different types of gin based on a rum distillate. This is a small Distillery with all of their p

When we go to stay for a night away, the details are everything, and the Inn at Court Square has absolutely nailed the details! The owners both greeted us and were so welcoming and accommodating. We were a little late for check in, but they still too
We returned to Foxfield Inn for first time in three years and were even more impressed than before. I booked a surprise weekend stay for my wife's birthday, along with some family members, and it felt as if we were returning to a family homestead. Su

Great spot, ample parking, open glass and space, not over crowded, the coffee house knows how to deliver amazing latte and mochas. The pastry is top notch. If this was close to university Iâd come everyday. All the great vibes come at no extra char
