This is absolutely the best value for your money anywhere. Friendly clean,accommodating. We were in town for a few days and needed a reasonably priced place to stay and when we arrived this place totally exceeded our expectations we've stayed in places 3 times the price that weren't this nice. Highly recommended
Took us in late in the day. Parking lot was full in the front. I’m on a cane so she gave me a room around back where I could park next to door and be right next to my room. Room were a nice size. 2 queen beds. Cold Ac. Very comfortable beds. We didn’t get to do breakfast the next morning becuase I had surgery at 6 am at the hospital across the street. Highly recommend .
Waited 15 minutes to check in because no staff was around. Got to the room and it stunk terribly. Room was super outdated and hadnt been cleaned well. The next morning, housekeeping kept banging on the door and woke us all up (kids included) wanting to know about towels. Overall it was a horrid stay. Ive never had an issue at any other hotels from this chain so this was a location specifc issue. Wouldn’t recommend.
Checked in for a mountaineer game hotel is clean, staff was kind when checking in, bathroom extremely clean. Bonus huge fridge for a hotel Room that we desperately needed. Stay here for a short drive for your WVU needs. Sincerely, Grateful
Getting better, taken from the Beatle's, is appropriate for Quality Inn. Here, they have indeed stepped up. However, the glaring issues remain with Choice Hotels collectively. The bathroom shower, had a safety handle secured with two (2) one at either end of the shaft, plastic cut sleeves, secured with metal pan head screws, sticking out from the bar ~ 1/2 in. at an angle of 45 degrees. In short, a serious safety violation hazard. Slipping and reaching for the bar, could result in a laceration. The 3rd shift clerk, was a foreigner with serious language barriers. At checkout, I showed him my room key #, and said the number, while asking for the slip/reciept. He seemed a bit confused, and then began slowly fingering through the desk top filing of folded receipts according to room numbers. It took him a bit to recognize things. The breakfast room has French doors, which have a large lock to secure the area, here , too, an elderly man ~ 10 minutes behind schedule, served up enough eggs to only fill the 6, present, hungry road crew workers plates, while another elderly couple entered the dining area, only to find emptiness within various segments of the serving area, and the elderly foreign, Esol, handicapped cook was "MIA". I asked for assistance from the clerk who gently oscillated his hand as to express patience. Still waiting for the system to work its way out.
Positive: It's price, but now I know that cheaper sometimes means too cheap. The room seemed fairly clean. Negative: Smelled must. Lobby and hall carpets were VERY stained and dirty. Said it had a fitness center, didn't. Said it had a pool, it was closed "for the season"...... in AUGUST! None of the ice machine worked and there wasn't anywhere to get water.
Are room was hot the the comp in the ac was out so we didn’t have any ac an the pillows are super fluffy till you lay on them then they disappear, breakfast was cold and chewy would not recommend unless u make ur waffles hot n fresh. when we walked to our room 3 rooms reeked of weed, check in guy was nice a lil weird everything was super clean had towels and junk water pressure sucked an very out dated shower n shower head could clean properly like I’d like with what they had
Absolutely not a good experience. The hotel lobby was very unclean. We entered our room, it was the same unclean condition of the lobby.. .and before I set our bags down, my ankles were covered with FLEAS! I was bitten 5 times trying to get back to the lobby. They issued us a different room... More Fleas and filth. I had 9 bites, my sister had 3 bites. They knew the bad issue but would not issue a refund. Bad business! We had to go buy flea spray, spray our luggage and bodies to prevent more bites and went to a better/ clean/ non-infested hotel. Terrible!
Our late Check-in was super smooth & easy. The room (King Suite) was very spacious with a let out Love Seat. The room was very nice, clean, & recently remodeled. The only issue I would describe is the room door was not fully flushed to the frame & I
Room was generally ok but needed some maintenance. Sink and shower was extremely slow to drain, tap in Sink was loose. Common areas were quite dirty eg elevator doors and walls, walls around light switches, door knobs covered with dirty fingerprints.
