Quality Inn - Hotel in New Kensington - 300 Tarentum Bridge Rd, USA

Have to give a shout out to Ang! Had the pleasure of having her as our housekeeper two days in a row, she was very pleasant person and helped us with everything we asked for and went above and beyond to help us out. The counter staff was also very accommodating and we were always greeted with a smile! The room were okay, our air conditioner stunk when we turned it on, there was burn holes in the curtains and sadly our bathtub wasn’t fully functioning and you could only shower (which was disappointed for my kids). Would recommend staying here if it was for a day or two.

We have stayed here multiple times over the last 6 months because it's close to what we came here for each time. Each time we have come, the first night is quiet, but each night after that has been noise of all kinds.....a couple having sex banging the head board against our wall & groaning every 2 hours, trucks running their diesel engines outside our window, music blasting from the bar, people talking/laughing/screaming/kids screaming/etc in a near by room(s).....these things happened till late at night or throughout the night. When the desk people were asked for help, they either did help or ignored us. All of the employees are very nice, but some may need more training. Either the company doesn't want to spend money on the maintenance/the maintenance employees need training/they don't care/they don't get paid enough & the housekeeping is the same, but at least they try to keep the place clean. The breakfast is a simple one....the waffles are good but the package muffins/danishes are mushy. The Internet is extremely slow. The ice machine on the first floor has been broken every time we have stayed here. You need to go to the second floor to get ice & at the top of the stairs the floor is broken away which is dangerous. Some of the outer doors are unlocked/broken so it's not very secure. I think that we will find a new place to stay when we come back. I hope they fix these problems because this is a great location, but it may be up to the company or the manager.

Great hotel and really nice staff:) Very pleased with the room and cleanliness of it. Only complaint we have is the hotel is doing a major renovation and nothing was open. The pool and restaurant were closed. We picked this place for the pool and the restaurant. We wish it would of been on the website "Under construstion" and pool/restaurant is closed. Other than that everything was amazing!!

There is little to be desired of the rooms here, but it was fine for a few nights when the plumbing in my house stopped working. convenient location. I didn't have any interactions with the staff while I was there.

Threw my parents out because a guy that was screaming at the top of his lungs about killing someone from 8am-4pm....kicked the glass on the door coming outside and startled my dads service dog and he barked at the guy. So the 450 pound 6'4 guy said the dog was trying to bite him in the face and instead of checking the cameras the manager is threw my parents out. Almost got in a fight with a guy trying to steal my laundry. Keys don't work, doors don't fully close to rooms from being kicked in. Paying for wifi you don't get and a pool that isn't usable, bedbugs, spider bites. Nails everywhere in the parking lot. The only nice thing the place offers is good housekeeping

Very nice location . rooms were clean , shower was great! Not slow like others quality inn. 3 star because - TMOBILE & VERIZON works extremely slow in this area , and WIFI is horrible! I was here on a business trip, but at least have a great wifi!!! Staff, service and people were all knowledgeable and kindess!

Positive: Quiet. Decent for 1 night Negative: A bit dated and empty and off the beaten path. Kind of eerily expansive and empty, like an old conference center that is not used anymore

The outside parking lot needs repair. Lots of pot holes and bumps. The side entrances do not respond well to the card keys. It seems the doors will not unlock without at least 7-10 attempts. Especially at entrance C. The rooms were comfortable. The air conditioning was outstanding. The TV was good. All the staff in New Kensington, PA were extraordinary. A wonderful stay. Just a few minor blemishes, but the quality of the staff made up for it. Apart from that, the location was great and surrounded by endless restaurants, shopping centers and two 7-11's (neither of whom knew anything about the trademark buttered rolls). Couldn't believe it. Overall, the Quality Inn provided a great stay at a great price.
