Me and my wife stay here while visiting family. Had a handicap room 122 that had a couch. Made it easy to stay here. Just like most places breakfast wasn't good. No eggs or sausage gravy. Service was ok but had to chase housekeeping down on the second day for exchange for towels. Would stay again if I can't find a place closer to family.
Managers were unable or unwilling to calm the people down who were partying up and down the front of the hotel...family reunion, they said, do it every year. Fireworks at 10 and still roaring loud at 11:35 when I called again. He said "I hear your tv so you weren't trying to sleep" I told him that was the crowd outside my door!!! |After my shower, drying with the towel, I found a long black hair...then others...not mine| Next morning, beer caps, half-eaten pizza, etc littered the walk to the office to check out...never again!
Staying here for work for a couple weeks and I've really enjoyed it. They have nice staff good breakfast in the mornings with a variety of things to choose from. The rooms are newly remodeled and kept clean daily. The beds are very nice, towels and wash cloths as well. Coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, alarm clocks with aux cords very nice hotel overall.
Just very outdated. Traffic noise on front side of Hotel and room fixtures, fans etc… needed cleaning or replacing. Queen mattress slept well, and rooms on backside were much quieter during our previous visit. I believe some rooms were being renovated as of 12/2022.
Wasn't a place I would ever stay again! Way overpriced. Newly renovated?? Ok! Vending machines didn't work, no hot water, and I don't know if housekeeping leaves the door open while cleaning but flying moths and something I googled to find out it called a stink bug. Old water stains and heaven forbid making coffee or tea in the coffee pot. Nasty! I can say however the staff was more than friendly! If you are ever in need of a place to lay your head down for the night, I would definitely drive about 20 more minutes to bowling green or anywhere else. Room ended up costing me $203.54 including 50 dollar deposit for incidentals.
This was a all together terrible experience. We showed up to help with the tornado relief only to see that they had raised the price for a room per night over 50$ simply because they were one of the only two hotels around. The staff was unfriendly to say the least. The rooms smelled like a goat farm and the water never got hot. On top of all that, there we had to fist fight the biggest roaches on the planet!! -2 stars.
This place is hit and miss and so far this year it's been a miss. The wifi signal is weak and isn't strong enough to stream shows. The rooms often smell like mildew maybe from the AC unit? Water pressure in the shower isn't great. The hot water takes forever in the sink. The rooms are only half clean, usually dirt and hair on the bathroom floor. My ice bucket had a decent amount of dust on it so it obviously hasn't been wiped down in some time. Oh and last stay I got back to my room in the evening to find the maids took lunch and didn't come back to finish emptying the trash or put the sheets back on the bed. The only plus is the staff is courteous, nice, and willing to help with any problems. Safe to say this hotel will not be receiving any more business from me.
Excellent customer service and room quality was better than expected for <$100 per night. Room was updated (except for the carpet) and the bathroom had granite countertops and newer floors. Breakfast was nice to have in the morning with eggs, bacon, biscuits and waffles available. I would definitely stay here again!
The food was good, but it wasn't great. This place had great service and great atmosphere, very inviting. I will definitely eat here again to try out different meals.
