Quality Inn West - Hotel in Sweetwater - 249 Hwy 68 I-75 Exit, 60, USA

The staff is friendly and welcoming and the location is perfect! The beds were clean and comfortable (no bed bugs) and I liked having the two doors (One leads to inside the hotel and the other leads to the parking lot). The pool area is great! Breakfast was good, they gave many options to choose from! My complaints are the carpet in our room needed a deep cleaning, sink and tub could use some bleach & The coffee maker had mold in it (as most hotel coffee makers do, so, please always check before using those) Overall it was pretty good for the money. Keep in mind that All hotels are taking $50 to $100 room deposits now. The deposit will be put back on your card a few days after you check out.

If I could give this place a negative 1 star I would. It’s dirty no other way to put it. I stayed in room 204 it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The built up soap scum and dust in the vents have obviously been there a long time. Who’s in charge? Who checks to see if staff are doing their jobs? No one! But they were nice enough to charge us 30$ to check in early. When got to the room it wasn’t even turned over from the last guest. Quality Inn??

Everything was clean and comfortable. When we checked in, the front desk lady (I think Heather) was very personable and friendly. ||The ONLY problem and not the fault of the hotel except (meaning the walls are thin with little sound barrier) was the guy next door coughing up a lung all night long. ||Breakfast was sufficient and very hot coffee.||Would stay again.

5/28-30/2024 My bucket list trip to The Lost Sea ….55 years in the making . We splurged and got the room with the whirl pool because I knew my bad knees would need soaking after the Lost Sea hike. The whirl pool in our room was not clean …so I went ahead and cleaned it , no big deal…things happen. Reported the un clean tub and sent photos(upon the front desk request) . They didn’t offer a discount nor did I ask ,because, that’s not me , things happen. Never received any reply from the email 🤷‍♀️| When I got my credit card bill, I see an extra charge for $50. Called the Inn today 6/29/24 and was informed that ‘I stole all the towels’. I am BEYOND upset. Not even about the $50,but neither my husband nor I take things that don’t belong to us ,let alone, thin used towels from a hotel. I was refused a refund of my $50 so I asked about a discount on the un clean tub….the owners reply was “you never asked for a discount “ No, I didn’t, because that’s just not me ,I understand things get over looked . He still refused to refund my $50 . I’m not sure how their staff over looked all the wet dirty towels I thoughtfully gathered up and put in the bath tub before we left. Sad, because this was a nice little hotel that on the way home said we stay at again ,because we liked the area so much we talked about a return trip. We have stayed at Quality Inn in Beckely WV for many years and many trips(a dozen or more ) never had this happen. Also noted the $50 was charged prior to the charge for my room so no way (if towels were missing) they’d have known that within minutes of us leaving .Super disappointed! 😔 this is the first time I’ve ever had to write a bad review , I feel actually bad doing it ,but it’s the principle of the thing. Gheesh! IF I were the type of person to take things it would have been one of the fabulous pillows we slpet on. Becuase those were amazing! From now when I stay anywhere Im bringing my wet dirty towels to the front desk upon check out !

I stayed at Quality Inn west Sweetwater Tn between 5/28 and 5/30 of 2024. Our whirlpool tub in our room was dirty…I cleaned it myself , no big deal, things happen , things get over looked. I informed the front desk the following day and they asked me to email them the photos I took of the dirty tub. I did email the photos but never received a reply from the email, not even a gee, we’re sorry this happened while staying with us .I was not offered a discount, although I didn’t expect one or have taken one but it would have been nice if they had at least offered. When I got home from our trip there was an extra $50 charge on my credit card from Quality Inn . I called Quality Inn and asked about the $50 extra charge . I was told that I had stolen towels and wash clothes from the room and was being charged for them! I am BEYOND UPSET! Who would steal thin, used , wet ,dirty hotel towels ? Not me! I was refused a refund of my $50 . So I asked “well, how about a discount for the dirty tub” and was told “ you never asked for one “ .No , I didn’t because I was being nice as I know things happen! Was still refused the $50 refund. Im so mad , its not even about the $50 ,its the principle of the thing and my good name ! I made a report with my credit card company as well as filed a report with Quality Inns corporate office, Choice Privileges, to which I’ve been a member of their rewards program for years. In all my years staying at various choice hotels I’ve NEVER had this happen !! I guess from now on upon check out ,I’m going to take my wet dirty towels to the front desk to be counted before leaving .Again, it’s not about the $50 its the principal! What are the maids or this hotel trying to pull? In addition I contacted the local Sweetwater police department regarding these “stolen towels” . Beware of being falsely accused of stealing used wet, dirty hotel towels ! The whole situation is disappointing and upsetting to me ! My husband and I on the way home had talked about returning as we really like the area. Who wants to stay somewhere where you’re accused of stealing, not us !

Very well experience 👏 I'm quite simple, so even though I had an encounter, the hotel itself was wonderful. Plus, an indoor pool and hottub.

Very friendly staff, Rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable, great location. A convenient store right next door on 1 side and a huddle house on the other side. Enjoying our stay and definitely would stay here again. Definitely would recommend, and very reasonably priced. Only disappointment is that breakfast shuts down to early. Should go to 10 or 10:30 as check out is at 11. Think 9:30 is way to early to close the breakfast bar. Otherwise our stay is great and would definitely stay another 9 days or longer if work wasn't a issue.

Stayed here while visiting a friend in the area. Nice room, the staff was very accommodating, reasonably priced.
