Quality Inn Waynesboro - Skyline Drive - Hotel in Waynesboro - 640 W Broad St Building A, USA

This place is a filthy dump. I stayed here for only one night due to the customer service being rude and then finding used syringes in the room from a previous guest. Then in the morning seeing the staff put outt the breakfast and physically watching the employee pick their nose while handling the food. When I complained to the manager they then informed me the would now give me my deposit back. They ruined my stay and robbed me of $100 deposit. Your better off sleeping on a new York back alley with rats then to stay here! Run far away from this dump.

I got 2 rooms, 1 with 2 Queen's and 1 with a King. The rooms that had Queen's in them, which we had to exchange both smelled like smoke. Those were for my Mother-in-law and my son. Our king was fine. If not for the smoke smell in both those rooms I would have given you a five star review!

We are doing a driving vacation from the North Entrance of Skyline Drive to the southern end of Blue Ridge Parkway. Needing to stop on our first night, we decided to stop where Skyline Drive meets Blue Ridge Parkway which turns out is Waynesboro, VA. Being a member of Choice Hotels, I seeked out a Choice Hotel. I chose this particular Quality Inn because of previous reviews, location and amenities offered. Great Choice!!! The hotel exceeded our expectations with Charm, cleanliness and hospitality. Upon check in we were greeted with a huge smile and they were very welcoming and gave us a great room. They even recommended an excellent place to get some dinner. Woke up the next morning, thought it was too late for breakfast, but when we went to the lobby, they saw us scrounging through any leftover items to eat, and the offered and made more eggs for us to eat. We visited with Alberto and also with the owner (I forget her name, sorry). They were nice as pie. Made suggestions of other things to do while in the area and spoke of other travels and where they were from…… Awesome People running this Quality Inn. We highly recommend this for anyone else’s travels as well as we will definitely stay here again when traveling this way in the future.

Absolute bang for the buck. Rooms were clean except for a slight musty smell that faded quickly. Great if you need a cheap place to stay before heading into the park.

Rooms were awful, toilet wasn’t flushed, the sheets and blankets were covered in stains, and the bed underneath the same. Staff was incredibly unprofessional, no one who works here has any sense of integrity, I won’t say this was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at but it was close. Location wise it’s what you expect from an ultra budget motel that has probably switched between many owners. My advice would be to stay far away from this rat hole but if you do find yourself here bring your own sheets, pillows, and antibiotics.

the rooms were pretty clean, they didn’t smell too bad. i can’t say that for the bathroom though, it smelt absolutely awful. there were a lot of bugs inside of the bedroom. i stayed in a motel in salem, virginia that was completely better than this and cheaper. the location isn’t too bad, but also really sketchy. i don’t get a good vibe at all from this place. the man at the front desk said he would give us a discount for everything wrong with the rooms, making the price down to $30, but when we went to check out they said he still would be charging us full price, $64 and then adding on an extra $30 for cleaning? it made no sense at all, when he said he’d only charge us $30 for the night as a discount.

It was really nice and dog friendly. Our rooms were clean and stocked. The rooms were adorable and breakfast was decent tho there wasn't a lot of variety.

Front desk was super nice. |Breakfast was decent for adults, didn't have many choice for kids thou.|Room had a weird smell to it, due to being next to the laundry room.|Tv had great selections for kids shows.| Room was clean thou and a nice one night stop for our beach trip.
