Quality Inn University Area - Hotel in Auburn - 1212 Mall Pkwy, USA

After reading the reviews we decided to try this hotel because it was half the price of the nearby Marriott. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke and the room was insanely humid and sticky, despite the AC running all night. We asked to move but were told no other rooms were available. The banging around of the people above us didn’t bother us but I could see it being annoying for others. Even after a shower we feel like we immediately need another one-the room was that unpleasant. We do like the location but Unfortunately we will not be returning.

The room was fine and the room was clean. They kept it clean. |My fault for not looking carefully, but there was no pool, very disappointing. The washing machine didn’t work, so we had to use a laundry mat. I informed the gentleman at the front desk as I asked about the whereabouts of a laundry mat. He didn’t seem concerned at all and just gave me instructions to the mat. But other than that, the staff was nice. The housecleaning staff were two men and they were very accommodating and nice and efficient . Breakfast was fine. |We decided to stay an extra night after being there 5 days and they charged us more.☹️. I didn’t even think about asking if it would be the same price or cheaper. I just figured it would at least be the same price as the previous ones. |It was quiet and we felt comfortable staying there.

Best Quality Inn we’ve ever visited. We forgot to take pictures but it was super clean and very quiet. Really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay here again. It’s behind the old Red Lobster building. Close to the mall.

It was nice. The bed was comfortable. I loved having a coffe pot in the room.|You need to put a milder shampoo in the bathroom. It left my granddaughters hair like straw. I use a walker. No rooms available downstairs so my son and granddaughter had to help me upstairs to the second floor. Y’all need to invest in an elevator for such conditions.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this establishment. I travel for a living, and I have stayed at much more expensive places that were not as clean. This bed was so comfortable, the pillows are actually pillows that don't sink to the bed when you lay your head down. I like that they don't have carpet in their rooms. Most hotel carpets are disgusting. I don't usually stay at hotels that have doors on the outside, but this location is by Auburn University and is in a safe and quiet area. I was very impressed with the customer service and with my stay.

Was coming here to stay for an overnight trip for work. Everything was fine until I walked into the room, I was there 5 minutes and realized very quickly the walls are paper thin. I could hear very clearly the housekeepers vacuum rolling across the floor in the next room. I immediately looked for another hotel and ate what this hotel cost because being on business getting woken up by noise because of paper thin walls is not an option.

Positive: The staff were excellent helpful, kind, friendly! Negative: The doors were all outside facing. Was not expecting that since I was traveling alone.

Positive: Extremely clean hotel. The bed was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Negative: A few more choices at breakfast would be nice. Negative: ""
