Quality Inn Texas City I-45 - Featured Reviews (366)
Very clean room. The management is updating the hotel and it shows. Pleasant staff. Clean quiet room. Disappointed that indoor hot tub was out of service. We are going down to same area in Oct 2024, called to see if hot tub was working and desk clerk said it probably wouldn't be. So we are staying somewhere else. They should update their amenities on the website. Other than that ,I would recommend this hotel. We did not eat complimentary breakfast so can't comment on that.
A very adequate hotel. We stayed here in preparation for a cruise out of Galveston. It was completely booked. The rooms were clean. The girl who checked us in gave us some useful advice about traffic and construction on the way to the port. The breakfast was satisfying. The elevator did tend to make a horrific sound. Some of the restaurants nearby were very good.
First time to ever stayed at a Quality Inn. This location was really nice. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. I requested a higher floor on the Choice App and she told me that her housekeeping lady specifically went up to the 3rd floor to clean the room and we were the only ones on the 3rd floor. They didn't need to do all that but that was very nice of them to. Breakfast isn't a full hot breakfast as other people would think. It's more of coffee, milk, cereal, fruits, bread, and waffles. Sadly, we weren't able to make waffles coz it was out of mix. We kinda went down close to it closing time at 9am. We did grab a banana and some cereal quickly.
They do not clean their rooms! Right away upon arrival we found a candy wrapper on the carpet. It was the same color as the carpets so it blended in, but it just proved that they never vacuumed the room. The sheets were clean but not the bathrooms. It was very obvious that they do the bare minimum. I took a washcloth and started to wipe off all the grime, and it was coming right off without any chemicals, so again, they didn't even try cleaning. The showe curtain was moldy too. This hotel is clearly family-owned and the housekeeping is done by elderly parents. They probably don't even have the strength to do proper cleaning. The AC is super loud and doesn't really work. It made the room feel muggy in our clothes felt wet.
Positive: The beds and pillows were so comfy!! Negative: The carpets looked clean but were in dire need of a good shampoo. Our feet and baby's hands/knees were black.
The room I had was clean but stale and I had to clean the a/c filter. Other than that, a very pleasant and uneventful stay. Lots of stuff nearby.
The room was very clean but you can see mold and the smell of mildew was so strong that I can’t sleep even with A/C working it’s horrible specially if you have kids and elderly people.Pool is extremely cold and hot tub is out of order.Sorry but this hotel have to do better for tte mold and mildew .Breakfast was great
The blonde woman with a missing tooth working the front desk was very inconsiderate of my animal who is registered under service and support animals. She was very passive aggressive about the whole situation. Poor customer service! Would not recommend this hotel!! I called the night before trying to get a room and this woman answered because I remembered her voice. I tried to call her back 5 TIMES IN A ROW & she would not pick up the phone because she saw my phone number on the caller ID I’m pretty sure. After I left my mother who was staying there overheard the front desk lady talking to her manager stating I said things that never came out of my mouth. She also told her manager she deserved a pat on the back for not allowing me to stay at the hotel for the night. She also told the manager that she would have allowed me to stay if I provided her with my housing letter and ID which I DID provide and was still denied.
It was my first time here since my friend recommended their coffee. They have the friendliest staff and the place is very welcoming too. Will definitely go back!
Went in for the first time today as a "Silver Sneakers" member to see about joining the fitness center. My wife and I were met by a lovely receptionist named Bobby who was exceptionally helpful and had us signed up and on a tour of the facility in no
This place does not disappoint! My kids and I are beachcombers and had heard there were some nice pickings at the Dike. You do have to pay a $10 entrance fee, but it's worth it. There's plenty of piers to walk out on and fish, boat ramps to load and
Great relaxing park half a mile from Texas City Dike!!! Family friendly with plenty of bench seating. Fenced in playground thatâs in great condition and walking or biking trails. Lots of memorial pieces around the park also.

Fantastic traditional Mexican food. The pastor and barbacoa super flavorful. The aguas frescas paired well with all the food and the staff was super nice. When we arrived almost every table was full but the staff was attentive and had great service.
