Quality Inn South - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 1410 Harrison Rd, USA

The reviews for this hotel are very deceiving. The evening staff was great, that is about the only good thing I have to say. The hotel itself, trash. I was in a non smoking room yet the entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke. The sofa was absolutely disgusting. The carpet, sticky. It was just myself and my 3 children and I did not feel safe at all. There were homeless folks in and out of the lobby and one on the 4th floor sitting in the elevator hall when we were leaving. I booked the room for 4 days but left after the first night. If it hadn’t been so late when we got there, I would have left as soon as I saw the room. We drove 12 hours (with a 3 year old) and we needed to sleep.. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I am thankful for the evening staff though. She understood my concerns and there was no push back when I told her I needed to change my stay from 4 nights to 1.

The room was perfectly clean and smelled great without being perfume-y. Service was excellent. Location was perfect for the COS airport. I don't fly much, but this will be my go to. Also, easy reservation process and reasonably priced.

The rooms are ok they were clean and no smell, the furniture a bit run down in need of replacement. It was quiet and I would have felt safe traveling by myself but they do post signs stating to make sure you lock your car. The breakfast was generous and the staff was very nice. I would stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice

My stay at Quality Inn was just fine: room was nice, bed was comfy. The location is a little sketchy, but was really close to where I needed to be, and it was easy to find. The service is where this place shines. I had a problem more than a month after my stay, and the front desk helped me swiftly and professionally. I am exceedingly grateful.

This hotel is a great value for the money. We found a clean room, nice front desk person, and nice facilities. It is very close to chain restaurants and shopping. Would have no problems visiting again the next time I'm in Colorado Springs.

Breakfast was ok (waffles were good). Location is difficult to get in and out of. Our daughters' room had a leak in the bathroom ceiling and they had to move. Rooms were dated. Pool was nice but the hot tub jets had issues. We kept having issues with our room keys. Staff people were nice. Hot coffee is always available in the lobby.

It needs to be updated. Dining area is way too small for the amount of guests trying to have breakfast at the same time. Breakfast was very good, though. Hotel room was falling apart - the shower rod wouldn't stay up, the sink was not working right and the a/c was way outdated. Carpet was sticky, so needed socks on feet at all times. The beds were comfortable. Service was meh.

This is a very honest review. And I must confess that my experience at this hotel was a very horrible one. Front desk attenders are unreasonably rude, rooms are dirty with old and rag looking soafers. I wish I could attach pictures because I did took some. One thing is that the hotel is in a good location, but I would never recommend.
