Quality Inn Seneca US-123 - Hotel in Seneca - 226 Hitec Rd, USA

For my recent trip to the Seneca/Clemson area, I decided on the Quality Inn of Seneca for my stay based in affordable rates and its Gold Award status with Choice Hotels. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay.||||This is a two-story, exterior corridor facility, and my first time at such a property since 2018. My room was 114, a king bed unit located on the first floor. The room was renovated fairly recently, as there was less wear and tear on the room and furniture than I've seen at other Quality Inns I've visited recently. The room was clean and everything worked fine aside from the typical Choice Hotel wi-fi that logs you off every few hours, even if it wasn't nearly as frequent as the location I stayed at last month. The bed was comfortable and the refrigerator was a larger than normal model. The room overall was excellent, and it was nice to be able to stay at a hotel and not have to report any issues or missing amenities to the front desk.||||Breakfast was okay, and could stand to be improved with bagels or perhaps even a meat option. Staff was excellent, and Amanda (day shift) assisted in getting an item returned to me that I had left in the room upon check-out. There's an outdoor pool on site.||||The Quality Inn of Seneca was an excellent hotel - don't pass it by simply because it's an exterior corridor facility. The room was clean, comfortable, and in better condition, maintenance-wise, than some newer hotels I've stayed at. And the staff is very helpful as well. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a well-kept, reasonably priced lodging option in the Seneca/Clemson vicinity.

Great place to centralize our group motorcycle outing in the area. Room was good, clean, comfortable, staff friendly, but breakfast was lacking. I realize complementary is not a restaurant type breakfast, but nothing hot but waffles does not cut it. Other Quality Inns I have stayed at had better options. And I am not a coffee drinker but did hear it was not the greatest.||Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again if in the area, just find another breakfast option.

The room itself was good. It was clean, however, the pillows did smell like Marijuana smoke. But other than that the room was clean. My issues are that I was not notified of a 'deposit' charge until after I had already checked into the room. When I called the front desk, they advised me that the charge was in case I didn't show up the first night. Which makes NO sense. I understand my money will be coming back to me, but this should be made evident on their website for people to plan finances better as we brought mostly cash for our trip. So be advised, even if you show up for your reservation, you'll still be charged. Also, at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday we were woken up by someone weedeating for almost an hour just outside of our room. I get that it's hot during the day, but when people are out of town, they sure don't want to wake up early on a Saturday morning. Maybe do yard work during the week? Room service also knocked on our door 3 times between 10:15 and 10:20 on our check out day. We were up and moving but I guess not moving fast enough. The manager I spoke to was rude, but the other ladies working the desks were pleasant to deal with!

What a pleasant stay! I was not expecting such a nice room with a refrigerator and microwave included. The room was spacious and pretty clean. The AC was working pretty good and the staff was very pleasant. Breakfast does not include the hot choices like scrambled eggs or bagels with cream cheese, but it still has the waffle maker and some other choices for a continental breakfast. Overall, we were pleased to use the facilities and will surely use them again when back to this area.

This hotel is exactly what I was looking for. Stayed here with a bunch of friends to do some motorcycle riding in nearby areas. The hotel was clean and well maintained, my room was clean and well maintained, the A/C worked properly. Great hotel for the price. Also, within a short walk behind the hotel are a Mexican, Brew Pub, BBQ, and Pizza restaurants and an ice cream shop.

Worst part, the antiquated policy at this hotel is take a photo copy of your license when you check in. In the era of I’d theft, who still does this? Quality Inn in Seneca does. I don’t mind you checking my id, but you don’t need a copy. I stay in Marriott’s every week, and this never happens. They won’t tell you they are going to either. You’ll just see it done, and even at check out they won’t return it. Second worst, don’t bother with the Do Not Disturb tag. A carpet cleaning crew, not even hotel employees, entered my room and moved things around while I was out. My luggage stand and desk chair were moved, and the carpet was wet when I came back. Finally, it’s at the far end of town and not near anything you can’t live without. Terrible experience, and the staff seemed quite put off that I had the audacity to raise the identification and entering concern at all. I will not return.

Arrived at 1145 pm after a 7.5 hr drive. The room looked clean but smelled like a pack of wet dogs and dirty socks. Thankfully I had a can of Lysol. It didn’t really help much. Breakfast was disgusting. Burnt black eggs, sausage you could have used for a Friday, and nothing diabetic friendly. Never again will I stay there. Sad!

I arrived at Quality inn a week ago. I was greeted with warm smiles and kindness. I was pleasantly surprised when I inspected my room. It was immaculate. Loved the upscale white bedding ,plush white towels. I have come to expect these luxuries at the Hilton or Tru resorts. Success always includes details. Quality inn in seneca has crossed and dotted their details. They do everything the family way.
