Quality Inn - Hotel in Corning - 66 W Pulteney St, USA

Rooms were a good size, beds very comfortable. Not immaculately clean but not dirty. Some dead flies on the bathroom floor. Check-in very easy. The man at the desk was friendly and helpful, offering ideas of where to eat. The indoor pool was a little disappointing. It was an ok size, but not warm enough for winter stay, and no hot tub. There were NO chairs or table there, so not conducive to watching the kids swim, which had been the plan. We had it all to ourselves so that's was nice. Overall, this hotel was very quiet and good for sleeping, so yes, I'd recommend this place - it was $89 including the taxes, so well worth it. Convenient location if you are visiting anything in Corning. Just a few blocks from Glass Center.

4.5 stars for the room. Very clean with a pleasant odor when we walked in and very comfortable beds. Love the lamp set up next to the beds! You can see some distress on the wood furniture and tell that the bathroom tile work is older, but everything has been kept in good repair. I could hear voices in the hallway, so it's not as soundproof as I'd like, but thankfully, the hotel seemed to have low occupancy and no one was being obnoxiously loud.|The lady at the front desk was friendly and provided all the information I needed about my stay without me having to ask.|Breakfast was standard fare for Choice Hotels - a few fresh hot items (I do wish they'd figure out a different instant scrambled egg base since theirs are always watery yet dry) and classic continental items.

Jen at the front desk was very nice. We were in a suite and had to move rooms without any hassle. Room 114 was clean. The pillows were very strangely small but actually comfortable. We went to Corning museum and had a tour guide which was super. The Market St was lovely and upscale. The restaurants were upscale and affordable. Santa was in the center area like a Hallmark Movie. Corning was lovely. The Wegman’s grocery is right over the bridge . We had a snack there in the market cafe before the drive home.

The hotel was fine, consistent with our other stays with Choice Hotels. Good value. We appreciate the breakfast. In particular, we booked this hotel because of the availability of an electric vehicle car charger. Having access to a charger is a significant benefit to us because we can fill up to 100% while at the hotel and we will book hotels based on their availability. In addition, the front desk clerk was particularly helpful.

Nice reasonably clean hotel. The room was spacious and clean. King size bed. Desk, TV, refrigerator. All the normal things. The front desk and breakfast area was clean and very cozy. The included breakfast was better than most hotels. Scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, many choices of cold cereal, fresh fruit, hot coffee, and tea. Orange juice, apple juice, lemonade. All the fixings were fresh and delicious. The swimming pool is small, but indoors and clean. They have a small gym area to workout. Overall, comfortable little hotel and close to exciting attractions such as the Corning Museum of Glass. Not a high-end hotel by any means. But clean and comfortable. I recommend this hotel.

Good value. Comfortable room. The room heating unit was nice and quiet and worked well. Nice breakfast with lots of choice. We appreciated the complementary charger for our electric vehicle. This is our second stay here this year.

We chose this hotel mostly because of price, and enjoyed the ease of getting around to see the sights. Traditional breakfast, with a dedicated gluten free waffle maker. Room was clean, but could use some touching up.

This hotel was such a disappointment. The minute you walk into the lobby, you are hit with the overwhelming smell of chlorine from the pool. We chose this hotel because it had a pool and a breakfast buffet. Neither was worth staying there for. The pool area has no chairs. None. I couldn't sit while my family used the pool. And it closed at 9 pm. The rooms were in poor shape and dirty. A prior guest left bottles in the room that were not removed by housekeeping. There was disgusting rust in the toilet paper holder. In my mom's room, the curtains were torn. The breakfast was disappointing too. The juice from the machine tasted odd. The eggs were watery and inedible. The only good part of the breakfast was the waffle maker. We will not stay at this hotel again.
