Quality Inn Port Angeles - near Olympic National Park - Hotel in Port Angeles - 101 E 2nd St, USA

The room was clean with everything laid out well. I could tell the property is old, but well kept and updated for the most part. I did have a problem with the sink, as the stopper would not come up as far as needed to clear the gasket. The sink would fill with water every time you turned on the faucet because of this. I did let the front desk know about it before I checked out, so it's probably taken care of already.|The staff was great, and breakfast was always hot and good! I need to limit the carbs I eat, and unlike some places, I had no problems here. I liked the fact I was able to bring my dog, as he does not do well with other people taking care of him.|Views of the Harbor and mountains from the property are great, and I did take a few pics with my camera.

Set your expectations and this stay is just fine. The continental breakfast was good (hot items: scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage; plenty of cereal, toast, yogurt), beds were comfortable and location was convenient (near a Safeway, easy walk to restaurants and the wharf) and use of laundry machines is included (great since we traveled with a toddler who loved the mud and sand of the park). Staff were very helpful and generous. Down a star because rooms are dated, humid and bathrooms are dingy.

We enjoyed our time at this conveniently located hotel. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and included a large fridge. Bathroom was large with lots of counter space. Housekeeping provided the exact service we asked for. Their breakfast was typical of most Quality Inns. Their guest laundry, while across the street, worked very well for us and was actually free! Our only issue was a plugged sink that needed attention.

First, the sticker shock. Finding accommodations of any sort on the Olympic Peninsula in the summer is hard on the wallet. I've never paid so much for a standard, exterior corridor Quality Inn. That said, the room was in perfect condition, quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was standard and a bit cramped. Service was just fine and it's located very near to downtown and the better restaurants. This is probably the nicest place to stay in this small city--just suspend your concept of value.

Pros: clean room, cool city, nice set up for family. Good restaurants within walking distance, nice staff ||Cons: (we stayed in three story building across from office) no elevator, doors open to outside. (No hallways) sofa bed left us with sore backs, breakfast area design is very poor, it’s small and all the food is in one corner, so only one person at a time can be serving themselves, making a waffle, etc. Way overpriced for what you get. (We paid $377 a night)

We enjoyed a very relaxing 3-night stay. Shawn and the other front desk staff were extremely helpful in accommodating our request for an ocean view on a higher floor. Our 1-bedroom unit was quite large with a kitchenette, air-conditioned, adequately furnished, and very comfortable overall. The laundry room, open 24 hours, came in handy. We would stay here again if we re-visit Port Angeles.

This hotel is so conveniently located at the top of the picturesque staircase in downtown Port Angeles. It is walking distance to the ferry, fun shops, restaurants and more. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is quite good offering hot and cold options to eat there or grab and go.

We are Choice Hotels rewards members so stay frequently at their hotels. This place was absolutely disgusting. We checked in at 10pm. The smell of pet urine was overwhelming. We asked to change rooms but were told this is a pet friendly hotel and all the rooms were like this. We were going to leave after we already paid but all the area hotels were booked. Carpet looks original to 1970.
