Quality Inn Pinehurst Area - Hotel in Aberdeen - 1405 N Sandhills Blvd, USA

I got to the room and was going to put my laptop on the table but the table was very wobbly and appeared as if it was going to fall apart. The website indicated that there was a fitness area but there was not one. The front desk person said that they got rid of it recently. Late at night I noticed to small baby cockroaches on top of the dresser. They went under the tv that fixed to the dresser. I talked to the person at the front desk who gave me a different room. This person indicated that he needed to get pictures as proof for the room service. I get to the new room and there was an odor, like a moldy musty basement. When I checked out, the receipt I was given was inaccurate. I had to call back and get the actual receipt emailed to me. The best part about this place was the coffee in the lobby.

HORRIBLE experience. For starters the room was filthy. Cobwebs in the corners, crumbling drywall, obvious patches in the drywall, walls and doors were visibly dirty and in need of paint, The bathroom floor was sticky and the door hinges were covered in rust. Mechanically, you could look out in to the parking lot through the gap around the door, the faucet had nearly no pressure and came out in multiple trickling streams, the light and fan switches for the shower area were broken and no matter how low you set the air conditioner it was VERY humid in the room. To turn on the light or fan you only had to shake the switch rather than actually changing its position, shower head had next to no pressure. The continental breakfast they advertise and picture on their website shows eggs & sausage. There was no such foods. Only stale old prepackaged muffins, cereal and make it yourself waffles with only one waffle iron.

The floor was dirty, they need more personnel to keep the rooms and kitchen areas clean. The breakfast was continental not a full breakfast. The front desk was really good.

To start, the ice machine didn’t work the whole time. Every day I had to have the reprogram my room card, and not once did I get fresh towels or sheets, even when I asked for them. The staff here are oblivious…for 10 more dollars a night I could have stayed somewhere else comfortably.

An older property with an incomplete remodel. The appearance of the room was nice, but the carpet and bathroom door were wellworn. There were USB connections by the bed to charge your devices. The bed was slightly too firm for me, but still comfortable for a couple of nights. Everyone we met there - staff & guests - were very friendly and nice. There was good water pressure for the shower. There was plenty of parking and the building is far enough from the road to not have too much road noise. Overall it was a good stay. Demetry that checked us in is a treasure and will be an asset to wherever he works.
