Quality Inn Owatonna Near Medical Center - Hotel in Owatonna - 150 St John Dr, USA

This hotel was once a Microtel hotel so rooms are small and that was no problem for us. It was clean. When the TV did not change channels properly the manager came up to the room and fixed the problem quickly and satisfactorily. When we arrived home the next day we realized that we had left our phone charger cord in the hotel room. We called the hotel and the woman on duty went to that room and found our charger and called us back to let us know she’d found it. We called the manager the next day. He said with a charge card number he would mail the cord and plug to us and put the cost on our charge card. He mailed it out on Tuesday and the next Thursday we received it in great shape and the cost was $10.85 - much cheaper than buying new! As a result we can only say good things about our experience at this hotel and we are very thankful for the treatment we received there!

Spent time here for 3 nights. The staff was very nice. However, the first 2 nights we were tired and didn't check anything but the last night we found a lot of dry blood all over the blanket that they tucked in under the bed which is disgusting even their new towels still dirty like a make up on it. Hope they can clean everything better.

This hotel is operated and managed by Indians who will take your personal information and use to scam and hack you in any way possible. Started having issues immediately after staying at hotel and manager asked for my email. Highly recommended not staying here.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helped us get a room even though me and my s/o had no reservation. The other guests respected quiet hours and we had no issues during our night there. The only slight inconvenience was our bed sheets could have been a bit cleaner but that was about it. The continental breakfast was incredible for the value (included in our stay) we paid for. For anyone traveling, the hotel is pretty close to Walmart and a handful of chain restaurants, not to forget it's nearby to I-35 as well.

The whole experience at this hotel was very LOW quality but these are some of the biggest issues: - The door to our room had a gap when it was closed which made it possible to open the door from the outside with any keycard. -There was a hole in the wall about 3 inches in diameter above where the fire sprinkler was. -There was a toothbrush left from a previous resident in our bathroom above the light fixture. -The hand towels in the bathroom were stained brown. -The toilet dripped and made noise constantly and had multiple stains in the bowl. -The second floor smelled like weed. -There were ants in the beds.

This place is modern/updated and very clean! 5 stars for that! Very safe place! Rooms have nice bedding and TV’s with HBO! Loved my room!!!||4 stars because the laundry washing machine doesn’t work, your cloths will need the dryer 3 times because the washer leaves your clothes very wet. |The vending machines have a slot for quarters, but doesn’t work. Use cash or a CC.||3 stars because they have 50+ rooms that ARE clean by 12:00, it’s an empty motel, no cars in the parking lot, no workers cleaning rooms because they aren’t dirty….but they won’t let you check in before 3pm…you just sit in lobby and watch the weather channel till 3pm…even though we ALL know there’s NUMEROUS rooms available!! They want $50 to check into a room early… ($79.9 per night) + $50 to check in three hours early at 12:00! The boss/owner needs to give some discretion to the front desk office worker!! |Don’t make people sit in the lobby when there’s 50+ rooms available! A couple hours early isn’t a big deal for check in!!||“English, you know how to speak it Mother*****?”|I love that movie

Always like Microtel, but wait! It hasn't been that for three years, despite T-Mobile's third-party registration. Was worried to see Quality Inn as we pulled in, but everything played out.
