Quality Inn Milan-Sandusky - Hotel in Milan - 11020 Milan Rd I-80 90 and 250N, USA

Rooms were clean, and decorated appropriately for this era. Beds were very comfortable. Amenities were all in working condition and clean. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful for anything extra that we needed. The front desk associate Becky, was very friendly and just a great person to get to know during our stay there. Ms. Pat, who I had the pleasure of meeting early in the breakfast room and also in the middle of the night, was very sweet and such a delight to talk to. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice hotel for the price! About 25 minutes from Cedar Point. The rooms are nice and beds are comfy! The hot tub and pools are nice as well. The breakfast was probably the only thing we weren’t exactly thrilled with but again your get what you pay for. It was waffle makers, cereal, toast, and yogurt. No eggs or anything like that. But like I said nice hotel for the price!

Location is close to cedar point, service was fine. The beds were clean and okay. The shower was definitely a "flip flop shower) as the tub was a little gross. What I couldn't get past was the intense mildew smell in the room. I had the front desk come and spray some air freshener but it didn't help.

We stayed July 22 – 26, 2024 and do not recommend the Quality Inn at the Sandusky/Milan location in Ohio. There are no outside security cameras here, and our car was keyed completely around on the second night of our stay. Consequently, our car has required a new paint job. Although we reached out to corporate offices and the hotel manager to seek some kind of compensation for the cost and inconvenience of the repair, as of this date, there has been no reply from either. The staff was friendly and our accommodation clean, spacious and comfortable but the room was not serviced during our four-night stay. The only “hot” part of breakfast was a do-it-yourself waffler.

Where do we start… First and foremost the location is great, it’s a nice and quiet area that is close to everything you would need. The staff was also super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the pool too. Now for the not so good, the hotel claimed it is newly renovated, I would really hate to see what it looked like before and would ask for my money back from which ever contractors did the work. The bathrooms were not in good condition, the facets were loose, they were the size of a closet and also dirty in several areas, the walls were peeling all over. As soon as we walked in the room we noticed a garbage smell, after searching for a while we finally found out it was coming from the mini fridge so we avoided using it. Our window was broken and would not close and lock, someone could easily open it from the outside. We also noticed the bed sheets were stained which was a huge reg flag and we were itchy the next morning after sleeping. The free “breakfast” was a major stretch to be classified as a “breakfast”. It was the absolute bare minimum. Not only was there hardly anything to eat, but the waffle makers were broken except for one, and the only toaster available half of it wasn’t working. We had to go across the road to MacDonalds to eat breakfast afterwards since there wasn’t much at all to eat so I highly recommend you do not let the “free breakfast “ they advertise as a selling point to stay here as you will be very disappointed. I get that every hotel raises their prices during big holidays like July 4th, but anything above $100/night to stay here would be an absolute overpayment. Next time we will pay the $30-$40 extra per night to stay somewhere better.

Great location just off the highway. You can tell they are updating the rooms, but aren't quite done. The room was mostly finished, but tge hallway was still the old carpeting and it was absolutely filthy. Great service for as busy as they were during the eclipse, but breakfast ran out so quickly and they didn't refill it fast enough. Definitely didn't plan well for the big eclipse weekend.

Very nice and clean rooms. Only thing was my room felt very damp. That's why I only gave 4 stars. Other than that everything wad great!

For a 2 star hotel, one should not expect too much other than a clean room to sleep. This hotel does exactly just that. The rooms had gone through some basic remodelling. It is quite nice for a 2 star hotel. The location is quite out of the way but driving a few miles from Sandusky to save $30-40 is worth it. Service is excellent. Wifi is rather slow even the hotel is not busy. I can imagine it would not be useable during busy time.
