Quality Inn Lake George - Hotel in Lake George - 57 Canada St, USA

We have stayed here several times in the past few years and we all love it! It's a beautiful hotel with a great staff. I always call them and book directly. They have always been very accommodating. I have to say the shower might be my favorite feature of the rooms - the water pressure is fantastic and I need to remember to ask the brand next time so we can get one for home, lol. The beds are super comfy, there is a nice sized fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, closet. We always stay on the first floor, poolside, and it's always a pretty view. We were here for my birthday weekend and staying at the Quality Inn, (which is conveniently located on Canada Street), just made it all the more special. The Quality Inn is well located at the southern end of Lake George Village. It is across the street from Fort William Henry (which, unfortunately, had closed for the season the week before I arrived); in easy walking distance from the lake, the boat rides, the historical museum, and other sights in the village; and a very short drive to the road up Prospect Mountain for lovely views of the lake ($10 day use fee). ||There are two floors with no elevator, so ask for a room on the ground floor if stairs are an issue. I had a room with two queen beds, a small sitting area (table and two chairs), and space to move around comfortably, with enough outlets, plenty of drawer space, and a small fridge. The sink area has lots of counter space, and it’s outside the toilet/tub area, which is convenient if two people are traveling together. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. ||Breakfast was included—cereal, pastries and English muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, and a waffle machine. I didn’t use the swimming pool, but it’s apparently heated, and I did see someone swimming in October. ||I don’t give it 5 stars because it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that a more luxurious place would have, but it’s also much cheaper than those places. Definitely recommended for a stay in Lake George.|

We were very pleased with our choice of Quality Inn Lake George. The hotel and grounds are updated and impeccably maintained. Everything was clean, modern, and attractive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to everything in Lake George village. Free breakfast was just okay. Wifi was excellent. Pool and fire pit were great.

Room 252 not a class act. The beds were comfortable but...The water in the tub filled up while showering and took a good 15 minutes to drain. With this nastiness on the bottom of the tub made it slippery for the next person showering. Quite disgusting. Didnt feel like cleaning myself during my stay in between our showers.The toilet was very low to the ground and we had difficulty getting up. That's not good at our middle age. The room was very damp. Our towels never dried overnight and our clothing was damp. Tried to switch from AC to heat...WRONG! The system started to smell quite funky (maybe it was the 1st time the heat went on) but it smelled like burning electrical wires. So back to AC we went. As for the continental breakfast, it was typical with some fresh fruit, packaged oatmeal, cereal, pancakes (do it yourself), bagels and muffins, coffee and juice, as well as sausage and eggs. Sorta okay on the first day but all four mornings, nothing changed. Very disappointing. Most likely will not stay at a Choice Hotel in the future. Will pay a little more for higher quality.

This was the least expensive Choice hotel I found in the Lake George area. As a Choice Rewards member for about 14 years, I understand the difference between hotels of different price points, and I expected a very basic Quality Inn hotel. This property had a lovely pool and hot tub, as well as a fire pit for guest use. Also a small exercise room. Very clean and BONUS.....walking distance to the downtown strip with shopping, restaurants and arcades. I will definitely come back .

My wife and I stayed there last week for 2 days. Could not ask for a nicer hotel, clean, well maintained, All 3 shifts in the front office would go out of there way to accommodate us. And the breakfast buffet was well maintained. Great value for the price.

This was one of the cleanest and well cared for hotels I have stayed in, and that is both inside and outside. We had a wonderful stay. Location was great...we parked the car when we arrived and walked the remainder of the time we were in Lake George. Employees were very nice and very helpful. Were in town for a long weekend for a wedding, but am considering coming back to the area and staying here again.

Immaculate, beautifully maintained property. Rooms are updated and clean. Nice, clean pool, hot tub, and fire pit are very enjoyable. Walking distance to downtown Lake George village. Free continental breakfast is basic but ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for the price!
