We were passing through on our way to Georgia and stopped over. Its right off highway in a great location. Rooms are nice. It's very comforting that it's a Loves gas station next door. Pool is nice. Breakfast was pretty good. Traditional items plus juice, coffee etc etc
We should’ve read the reviews first but we were so tired. Lesson learned. The first clue was the empty parking lot. So no noise. The hallways smelled and the room smelled like smoke. So much for non-smoking rooms. I’m a retired health inspector so my first place to check is the mattresses for bed bugs. No bugs present but the mattresses were very stained. Both had what appeared to blood on them. One was heavily stained with blood. The ceiling over the shower looked as if it were going to cave in. It had been patched from previous water damage. The breakfast was less than desirable. Kid’s cereals, bread and warm orange juice. We went to Dunkin down the road. Just keep driving if you can!
It was late and decided to stay the night somewhere instead of driving another 8 hours. Don't let the area and looks deter you. Rooms were clean ,front desk was very nice and breakfast wasn't bad. It's great for passing through and with two kids and the price it wasn't bad for a night.
Very nice room. Everything was very clean. The number one positive thing is they allow pets. We had our pug with us. Her name is Gigi. We traveled from Northwest Arkansas to Central Alabama. Planning another trip in July. Save.
Me a room or 2 .
Terrible hotel the owners are rude and even racist. One of the staff called my 4 year old a “blue face devil”!! The management is not organized nor professional. This STILL stands out as possibly the worst hotel we've stayed in over the past few years. It was just depressing. It was dirty and sad. So much noise in the hallway all night. The neighbors were busy for hours and you could hear everything. The police even showed up during the night. The bathroom was disgusting and the smell was bad. I'm still recovering months later.
On 3.30.24 my childrens and I was at this hotel the manger name start with a G was very rude I had made a reservation for two bed queen non smoking because it was me and my 4 kids. My 4th child is under 4months. After charging my card 270.98 the manger told me because I have 4kids I need to buy another room for 140.00 but I told him no because my are under the age 16 and my youngest is under 4 months after refusing to pay extra I was told that I had to leave and we didn't even get into the room we was at the front desk still than whe. I ask for my refund I was told that I will be charge for that day..... PLEASE save your money do not go to this hotel. I think he was just being money hungry because a car event was happening but this is a not a good hotel with the manger 1st name start with a G and Last name with a V
We lucked out picking a random hotel on our way from Missouri to Florida. This was one of the best roadside hotel experiences I've had.

Beautiful and peaceful state park with a 1.75 mile trail around the lake. The state park is 30 minutes from Oxford. The trail is easy and well maintained. The entrance fee is 4 dollar, cash only.
Great campsite! Cheap primitive sites at $7 / night and really friendly and well intentioned camp host Chuck. You can tell thereâs a lot of care for the land and continuous work improving storm damage. Definitely recommend staying!
