Quality Inn Grand Suites Bellingham - Hotel in Bellingham - 100 E Kellogg Rd, USA

Husband and I thought we would get away for a night, thinking that this place is easy access is true except for the places surrounded by druggie and homeless everywhere. Lots of garbage. Very poor lighting, had to put fake security camera in my car due to how much activity is outside with their issue there. Staff was polite when we got our key, upon entering our room disgusting is all I can tell you extremely outdated, very dirty. Experience as a cleaner here so knowing what to look for. Handprints and food prints on surfaces very sticky, broken cracked yellow lamps, checked the bed of course for bed bugs and found mattress covered in blood. Wonderful. Room is non-smoking but reeks of cigarette smoke like a casino. Husband and I were so grossed out we literally went next door and bought cleaning supplies just to make it through the night to sanitize where we are staying. Cigarette burns on tub and walls very questionable about their cleaning staff here. Would not pick this location again please do not bring your family. Lots of characters that would question safety also.

We checked in, went to the room and promptly turned around and checked out. This has to be one of the worst hotels I have set foot in. The room itself was "cleanish". The wallpaper was peeling, there were rips in the carpet and overall the room / appliances had seen better days. There was a bag hanging from one of the lights that said it was a condensation collector and to throw out the bag when full. The room had a strange aftershave / cologne kind of smell that seemed to be masking a problem. The only plus was the person at the front desk was pleasant.

Im not one for writing bad reviews as I like to be constructive but this place was not good. The staff were professional and courteous which was nice. My issue is the rooms and facilities themselves. The outside barely has any lighting in an already sketchy part of town with a big drug and homelessness issue so be wary of leaving things in your car. The rooms had so many issues. Random fluid stains on the walls. Water damage on the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. Holes in the wall. Appliances falling apart. Me and my partner did not feel clean sleeping here so we slept in our clothes just to be safe. Its a great hotel if you need something quick and cheap as an overnight stay in an emergency but otherwise id avoid at all costs.

Don't stay here. Staff let a bunch of men smoke and drink beer in the hot tub all evening so no one else could enjoy the area with their family. They left glass beer bottles and chicken wings everywhere that were still there the next morning when we tried again. The rooms were extremely dated with old dark carpet, different than all the pics I saw online. We used Clorox wipes on some surfaces and it came off filthy. The hair dryer had burn marks and was missing the guard part over the motor which I didn't notice until some of my hair got sucked in and cut off. The sink wasn't draining. There was a homeless man going through the trash right by the back door so we felt we couldnt use that door. All of the trash cans were overflowing every evening.

We had to book a room somewhat last second and this place was not only cheap but it was a nice room. Yes there are some problems with the wall paper, and all of the furniture is out dated. But it was a nice place to stay. Definitely not a 1 star like everyone else says.

A very serviceable place to stay. The beds are good, the rooms are clean. Some elements are a bit dated, but the pool is nice and it serves as a great base for our exploration and adventures in the area.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! My kids and I had a HORRIBLE experience on 6/23-6/25/24. The rooms were extremely dirty, pubic hair found on multiple towels, hair in the bed, our refrigerator did not work, the room was incredibly dusty as if it had been sitting for months vacant. There is a homeless community right behind the hotel. I complained to the staff, yet never received a call from the manager although was guaranteed I would. Additional charges were placed on my account that should not have occurred: extra bed charge, additional children charged. When I spoke with Curt B., the manager, I was told the charges would not be reversed. I will be complaining to the BBB. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

This has to be read,this was bh far the worst experience for starters the location was horrible the rooms weren’t clean and the worst part is the theft,we had left one of our personal belongings in the hotel room which had a lot of cash in it,when we came to pick the bag up we saw our money envelope empty,the people who had cleaned our room stole 7,000$ from us and the things that make it worse is how there was a camera in the halls showing clearly who cleaned our room and what was going on in our room but the hotel had no clue who was the cleaner? Is this some sort of joke?! The camera will clearly show who cleaned our room and show the inside of our room a little too we have no problem calling the police on them and we definitely will but do NOT go to this hotel it has terrible quality and the staff are a bunch of thief’s.
