Absolute crap hole! 🙄. Something different wrong in every room. No elevator and ice machine must be for decoration only. Asked for ice at the front office and they proceeded to hand us a bucket with no liner. Based on the room condition, you can trust that they cleaned the ice bucket! First night, stayed in 216. The room was not cleaned before they turned it over. There was baseboard broken in bathroom, toilet seat broken, shower head broken, hair on the shower walls, shower drain was plugged up with hair and pubic hair in one of the beds on the folded tucked in sheets. Second night, stayed in 211. Less pillows than first night. Toilet seat was broken. Door peephole was broken. Attention to detail is subpar at best. Third night, stayed in 214. Everything was looking better until we looked in the shower. There were ants all over the shower walls. The current owners do not care about this property. The only positive thing is that it is close to the interstate which makes traveling a little easier. This hotel is a $39.00 per night crap hole at best! I will not stay here again. Absolutely disgusting!!

Worst hotel ever!! Where do I even begin… for starters there is not an elevator. We had to lug up our ice chest up two flights of stairs. Then we opened up the door to our room and a musty smell slapped us in the face like they haven’t used that room in years. Then we had to clean up water on the floor and the white towels were BLACK when we were done cleaning the floor. We asked for more towels because we used them for the water and they gave us dirty stained towels. There was ants and cobwebs in the shower on the wall and window. The pool absolutely dirty and disgusting. Continental breakfast was just waffles and orange juice that’s it. To top it all off we all have bug bites from the beds. Do your self a favor and NEVER book to stay here.

This place was terrible, our room was smelly and our bathroom was DIRTY. The front desk man was incredibly rude. Our keys randomly stopped working and instead of being apologetic for their equipment not working the man rudely said "keep your devices away from the cards, that's why it's not working. You did it with you phone" I have NEVER had this issue anywhere else I've ever stayed. It also seems like part of the hotel is rented out for people to live in and the other part is for the "hotel" business portion. Lots of weird sketchy people. Believe the bad reviews, not worth it. Super gross for the price we paid.

Location was the only thing good about this place. It was very close to our families house. We had 2 rooms for our group. Each night we returned to the room the keys wouldn’t work. In 1 of the rooms the toilet was unusable and we had to have a bucket to flush. Refrigerator in one room didn’t work and stunk up the entire room as it hadn’t been working for awhile. Wouldn’t stay here again unless no other option.

Booked online, stayed at many Quality inns and I understand its not the Hilton or Marriott but most are clean and safe but this place was down right gross!||As soon pulled up there was broken down equipment or cars in the carports. People/staff hanging outside. Gave it the benefit of the doubt, if the room is clean ok but we walked in and walked right back out. Room smelled heavily and overwhelming of chemicals. Walls and beds looked dirty and there was tape holding up the ceiling in the bathroom.||Asked for a refund but offered points instead. Just wanted my money back since I had to book another hotel for more money. Would not recommend!!

Rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable & overall cleanliness is great. Wi-Fi is a bit spotty but not an issue. Decent breakfast. Small market & 2 restaurants are within easy walking distance. Nearest town of size (Escondido) is about 10-15 miles away.

The room was probably the worst I've ever stayed in. It smelled faintly of urine and stale tobacco. Seriously, the toilet had dark brown water when I walked into the bathroom. We should've believed the bad reviews but the mgr. Natalie assured me our room would be great. The owners have no shame and pride. The front desk people were friendly, though. Also, it was noisy being near the freeway so we couldn't sleep. Noisy and smelly=a waste of hard-earned money.

This hotel was a horrendous experience. Upon arrival, the lobby was covered in caution tape and “off limits” areas that included the entrance to our room. Once we found our room, there were homeless people squatting in the rooms on either side of us (they banged on our door and walls all night and terrified us). Once we entered the room, the smell was so foul that we were unable to breathe (mold, bleach, and cigarettes). The walls were covered in holes, the floors covered in human hair, and the towels and sheets were covered in brown stains. There was 1 sheet on the bed and no blanket, and the “pillows” were just bunches of fabric shoved into a pillowcase. I can’t even name the countless other disgusting, filthy things in the room. We only stayed 1 night of our stay because we couldn’t breathe or sleep in that kind of environment. We will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone and hope that anyone considering it pays for an airbnb or other hotel instead.
