Quality Inn Edison-New Brunswick - Hotel in Edison - 21 Cortlandt St, USA

I recently stayed at this Quality Inn location due to a unexpected emergency. I needed things to go smoothly so i could focus on other things and this location came through. the staff was quite attentive and cheerful. The room were well kept and comfortable. The location has many useful locations relatively close by. I will definitely be staying at this location in the future whenever i visit the area.

I made a reservation for two rooms at this hotel, one for my family and one for my friend's family. However, due to personal health issues, I was unable to travel. To ensure my friend's plans were not affected, I asked the hotel to remove one room from the reservation and put my friend's name on it. They confirmed that they had made the change and that the hotel desk was notified. I also received an email from the hotel requesting credit card authorization, which I promptly provided, and they confirmed the receipt. When my friend arrived at the hotel, the front desk asked for my ID, which I found surprising as I didn't know that people always carry their friend's IDs with them. My friend didn't have my ID, so they were denied check-in at around midnight. My friend asked me to send a picture of my ID, and I also spoke with the front desk to clarify the situation, especially since they already had credit card authorization on file. The following day, I called the front desk again, and the lady I spoke to was very polite and informed me that no ID was required for check-in. It was confusing as everyone had confirmed that my friend could only show the reservation and their ID. It was frustrating that the person at the front desk at night did not follow the correct process and denied check-in without checking the notes or following up with the hotel chain or their manager. I am very disappointed with this experience and plan to give my future business to something other than this hotel or the chain. More knowledgeable and polite front desk staff is necessary for a travel and hospitality establishment. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and only gave it a 1-star rating because there was no option for zero stars. Natacha Perez reached out to me from the hotel after my review of them in choice, where she talks about I was not having good room. I tried to reply that she should read my review first and guess what, the email doesn’t configured to get a reply. I tried twice and this is how they take care of unhappy customers.

It's a motel like quality with a 4-star hotel price. The same nasty food for breakfast. The place is really old and the interior is depressing. The carpet and the wallpaper are horrendous. The bathtub had mildew on the edges. I would not have stayed here if I had seen a review with 3 stars. The location is like an old alley in a construction zone, but no construction was going on. The motel was at the end of the road, not visible from the main road. Very low class cheap and disgusting.

I make a reservation for 3 day 2 nights the fire alarm went off for my room and a couples more room and they want us to leave the property without any money back even the deposit the we make before we get the room! The fridge was broken and one side of the wall too!! Never going back to this hotel. And not even going to talk to the manager! 👎

Just checking in but really impressed at first glance ! Room clean,building seems clean and everything works. Just checked out of a Comfort Just North of Philadelphia and it was a mess ! Compared to any upscale hotel I have ever stayed in,this is just as nice ! Thumbs up to staff and management of this place !

The front desk service (I think Natasha) was excellent taking in requests with reason. I found cash under Porte cochere when I stepped out of the car and I gave it to front desk, and the person back track guesstimated to the last customer and handed it to the customer, very genuine. The walk way to the door has pleasant smell, however the air was stale inside the room for a couple of minutes. The food at breakfast does not have any vegan, plant based options or allergen information. One variety of fruit and yogurt available.

Hello. My husband and I stayed at your hotel last week. We stayed 6/12/24-6/14/24. Our room was 311. I brought with me 2 stuffed animals. One yellow rabbit and the other a small pink teddy bear. On Friday the 14th my husband and I left for the day. Before we left the room around 11am, I had my stuffed animals at the head of the bed in front of the pillows. I wanted to make sure that the housekeepers saw them when they made the bed so they wouldn’t get lost or misplaced. When we arrived back to our room at 5pm I noticed the pink teddy bear missing. I looked through the sheets, behind pillows, under the bed, through my belongings, everywhere. My husband asked the housekeepers if they saw it and the lady who had a hard time speaking english said she only saw the one(yellow rabbit). I spoke with the people at the front desk 3 times before we left the hotel on Saturday. The last one at the desk I spoke to was a lady. I told her the situation, even the idea that maybe the bear got washed with the other sheets and she checked with the housekeepers and still nothing. Like the housekeepers said before, they only saw the one stuffed animal when they came into the room. This little pink bear is VERY sentimental to me! My husband gave it to me as a gift while we were dating so she’s very special. I believe that someone stole her from our room. And as I expected, when we got back home she wasn’t there because we had brought her along on the trip. So id like to report it as stolen. PLEASE let me know if you received this message and if you find Princess. That is my little bears name. Down below is a picture of what she looks like. Thank you for your time. "I stayed at this hotel from Saturday, August third to Monday, August fifth, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The cleanliness of the hotel was extremely poor. We encountered multiple issues that led to us being moved to another room, which had a strong moisture smell and was also not clean. The cleaning standards were clearly not up to par. Additionally, the breakfast was just okay and didn't make up for the other problems we faced. I would not recommend this hotel."
