Quality Inn - Hotel in Sandersville - 508 S Harris St, USA

Our stay at Quality Inn Sandersville was a huge disappointment. We were in town to attend the funeral of a beloved family member of the Sandersville community for 80+ years and well-known to the community. ||Upon arrival to the property, the impression was 'rundown and dirty'. There was no evidence of routine cleaning or maintenance of the lobby area. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room described as one of the 'renovated' rooms. The room had yet to be renovated or cleaned from the condition of the floors and dust. There was no metal bar lock on the door. ||We returned to the front desk and spoke to E'laijah Winters (front desk staff) to request another room. We were assigned another room. Upon moving luggage et al to a new room, we discovered the television was not connected to the internet. The front desk clerk contacted the owner Bhavik Patel by video chat for instructions. He was quite dismissive to the employee and to us. We were instructed to contact the IT company using our cell phone to request the tech complete setup. The IT tech could not correct the issue because there was no internet connection to the device. The owner instructed E'laijah (front desk clerk) to use a master key and check empty rooms to find one with an internet connection. Of note: E'laijah Winters was the ONLY employee on duty. ||E'laijah located a room. We moved our belongings for the third time to the new room. There was a strong odor in the room that caused eye irritation. The pillows appeared to be square 'decorative' pillows with a case put on them. However, being exhausted, we just endured it. ||The owner is disinterested in providing a safe and comfortable environment for the guest. ||E'laijah was the only good thing about the experience. She persevered to find a solution, unlike the owner who could have cared less. ||Do not stay at this hotel. You will be disappointed!

Overall pretty clean the bathroom needed To be upgraded. Desk clerk was a little unfriendly. The price was higher than other places so we figured it would be nicer....not really sure about that...

My husband and I stayed here as a pit stop on our way home to north Georgia from Florida. It’s one of few hotels in town and one of the nicer ones. Our room was clean and comfortable and most of the staff friendly and courteous. The breakfast offered was basic but good. When we arrived around 5pm, the check- in attendant could have been more pleasant, offering a simple welcome and hello. She didn’t seem to want to be there. She wasn’t unpleasant just all about business. Upon leaving and after being on the road about an hour or so, I was surprised when the daytime hotel representative called to let me know that I left a personal pillow in our room and that they would mail it out to me. She was very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel when you’re traveling through the area.

I have stayed at this property over the last 8 years through a couple of changes in name and management. I have to travel here on business. While the property has been updated, there is little concern for cleanliness. Walking into the front door you'll see a doormat that hasn't been cleaned in months and a sidewalk that is in desperate need of a power washing. The elevator walls were covered in fingerprints and smudges. The carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. Fortunately for the owners, they are really the only game in town. The 2 other hotels are much worse as I have tried them in the past. The only other options in the area are 35 to 45 minutes away. For this reason the rates are inordinately high for the quality.

The Customer service was great; however, there was too much noise by guests. A lot of door slamming made me wish that they closed softly when I needed rest and sleep. It wasn't as clean as it was the first time i stayed when the renovations were new. It's difficult to continue doing business some place you don't feel comfortable.

Positive: The desk clerk was awesome, very friendly, and knowledgeable. Our rooms were fine, The hotel is old and needs some work but for the most part, it was clean. All the workers were very friendly. Negative: Outside one of the entrance doors, debris from a storm had built up for weeks, making the place look abandon. They ran out of plates for breakfast and there was none on the property. The owners live on the property, so this should not have happened. Negative: ""

Positive:  the front desk clerk was very nice and knowledgeable. The other workers were kind too. Negative: The hotel is old and needs work. There was debris outside of one of the doors that made the hotel look like it was abandoned. The owners lived on the premises and they were rude to the workers, They ran out of plates for breakfast, guests unable to eat. Negative: ""

The young lady at the desk Ms. Jessica was very nice. When breakfast items ran out she replaced them before 9am closure. The room was ok, the tub Didn't work for a bath; I could shower. I and others DID get tired of Fox5 .
