I was going to give this hotel 4 stars. Until I was denied booking another night after already staying since Sunday. It’s now Saturday. That’s 6 days of paid stay. I am here for my mother’s funeral. It’s tomorrow morning.. I asked what the reason was and the manager would not give me a reason. Or talk to me. Or come in. I want to point out I paid each night upfront at the time of each check in and they charge around $20 extra after taxes are added so the rate showing is not the actual total. My husband’s card went missing after a night or two, we’ve asked to see the camera footage. It’s still missing. I’ve spent almost $700 here total and to deal with being denied another night to stay without a reason when I’ve already been giving this hotel my hard earned money is disgusting. I have never been profiled like this before and am very hurt and disappointed that the manager refuses to give a reason as to why especially after the amount of money I’ve put in this stay. I give this hotel one star based off this type of treatment alone. The room was nasty when I checked in too you could tell someone was just there it was not restocked one toilet tissue, dingy towels, someone’s hair in the bathroom, sheets dirty. We had to ask for towels and sheets. The breakfast honestly was the only decent thing about this experience. And that was decent only because everything was microwaved. I will be spreading the word about this place and how they have treated a supposed guest. Disgusted based off this inconvenience. I called customer service and they wouldn’t give them a reason either. They even said this is very odd and I have a right to know the reason and it’s very inappropriate. And that they don’t tolerate this kind of behavior or treatment. They are taking this to the next level and filing. I would look elsewhere if staying in Calhoun. Now I have to deal with finding somewhere else to stay for one more night when we are finishing up the preparation for my mother’s funeral. I will be posting this on BBB too.
This is a decent place to sleep. No frills. No elevator, needs a little TLC|Room Was clean, breakfast was a typical Quality Inn breakfast. Nothing special |I parked my truck and small trailer in the back of the lot.|Outdoor pool was still closed in April but it was still a little cold outside to swim.
Roaches! We looked at the room, and it seemed clean. At about 8:30 PM, we killed two adult roaches. Called the front office to only be told, i don't know what to tell you. No offer to change rooms, no offer for a refund. We traveled all day and were tired of driving. We took everything that we could back out to the car in the freezing cold. The wind chill was about 10 degrees. We later saw more roaches and left the hotel for cleaner accommodations. We did receive a full refund the next day.

Positive: Close to interstate Negative: Condition of property. Stair rails loose and rooms in need of refreshment.
The rooms are nice enough, they could be cleaner. I stayed 11 days and bought my own cleaners to clean with. A lot of construction workers stay here and hang out drinking after work in the parking lot, they get pretty loud. The area seems relatively safe and very close to the hospital which is where I'm working so that was nice.
Bed mattresses were breaking down...receptacle would not work at bathroom sink...had to dry my hair at the desk...commode was slow to flush when we checked in and would not flush in the morning...looks like it used to be a nice hotel but it is not being maintained properly...obviously!
This was a lovely hotel to stay at. Clean, great choices for breakfast, and friendly staff all around. Calhoun is also a quiet, small area, as someone who is from Florida, it was a nice change. Would stay here again in the future.
We stopped here on our way to TN! December 12th. My husband had made a reservation on Travelocity and made it for the wrong day! So we called and asked if they could honor it for the night as we were almost there! The lady who answered said No, I wo

We stopped on our way to Elijay to get some tacos.
They make great tacos, authentic Mexican flavor and big portions.
Highly recommend if you are in town.
I stopped here for lunch on the way to Chattanooga. I always like mom n pop places and Yellow Jacket did not disappoint! The servers are kind, attentive, and friendly, and knew all of the locals who came in by name! The restaurant was clean.
