Quality Inn Auburn Campus Area I-85 - Hotel in Auburn - 2283 S College St, USA

Reviews are all over the place but my room was freshly rehabbed, clean and smelled fresh. Pet friendly and Arif was patient with my need to see the room before I booked. Military discount was applied. When I looked at reviews of ALL the hotels in the area I was frankly worried. Some were horrid. But this was a good day and a soft landing for the night. Freezer needed defrosting but otherwise fine.

My mother and I came here for a quick trip. We were going to a wedding and just needed a place to stay for 2 nights. Let me start by saying that this place under construction but it was never told to us. My mom check us in and then we are given our keys. As you walk in it should be a safety hazard they have boxes in all corners and "empty" spaces. We get to our room and realize you have to slam the door to make sure it is shut all the way. Found hair in the shower amd when we went to the front to ask there was no one there for 15 mins. Next morning we get up for breakfast. And it was horrible. Cereal that was in the containers was there from the day before. They only had egg patties, juice was watered down and coffee was horrible. House keeping finally comes and does a lack luster job in the bathroom. Just disappointed all together. Did have a refrigerator and microwave in the room but the microwave was dirty as well.

This hotel is currently under renovations and it would've been great if patrons were notified. I promised Management I wouldn't post the photos I took as they tried to do their best accommodating me under the circumstances I hope they are able to find the right cleaning staff as who they had needs training but the manager in particular the small female manager was very sweet and apologetic.

Staff was nice enough. No bugs were found, but the room smelled like mildew, and of the three lamps I had in the room, only one worked. The staff gave me bulbs to change out the two lights. I found that of the two lamps that were out, one of them was broken. The blankets had cigarette holes in them. There is missing paint and scuffs all across the wall above the bed. The shower head holder was snapped off. The floor of the bathroom was filthy, and the grout was black with mildew. The toilet did not flush properly. The fridge was not functioning properly. Pool was out of order to top it off. Very disappointing, thank goodness we were only there one night. I would not recommend this quality inn. At least until then do some renovations or fix their standard of cleanliness.

We stayed in the handicap accessible room for 2 nights. The good news is the room was large and open. The TV service was great and included several movie channels. The bed was extremely firm and surprisingly a good ole inner spring mattress. The service staff was kind and visible for any needs. The cleanliness definitely left something to be desired however and the bathroom left much to be desired. The shower was broken to the point you had to hold it in your hand to get wet without hugging the walls. The hairdryer was mounted high up on the wall by the door and only had a 3 ft cord making it impossible to use reasonably. My last comment is to the decor. I know this isn’t a priority for usefulness but to have such a large room and not one single piece of art hanging made it stark and dreary. There were only holes where things once hung. Very sad !

Under Contruction. Not noted when Room was paid for online. Does not look like pictures. I'm still trying to get a refund for the night stayed. May be better after renovation. The manager will not refund the nights stay, although nothing online is stated under construction.

Nous avons voulu passer une nuit étape dans cet hôtel. Première chambre proposée, la tv ne fonctionne pas. Deuxième chambre la tv ne fonctionne pas non plus. Troisième chambre la tv fonctionne mais pas de wifi et chambre du dessus super bruyante ainsi que le parking du Waffle House qui est juste à côté de la fenêtre. Étant arrivée en Amérique après un long trajet, j’ai besoin de me poser tranquillement et d’ avoir une nuit bien reposante. Ce ne sera pas le cas, qui plus est l’hygiène est un peu douteuse ( comme par exemple un Cotton tige usagé traîne sur la clim) donc je décide de quitter l’hôtel après avoir expliqué le pourquoi et que le manager accepte de me rembourser la chambre dès le lendemain. Il y a dix jours et je n’ai toujours rien reçu. Hôtel à fuir!!

After reading the reviews, my room was slightly better than I expected. It was Auburns parents weekend & the room was $299++ per night. As freshmen parents, total learning experience. I travel often for my job & stay in plenty of budget hotels. The rooms are dark with no proper lighting. There is a light switch in the entrance of the room but no light in the ceiling. Our Bathroom was old and not great but not as bad as in other reviews. The bed had 4 standard lumpy pillows, old dark furniture, old lamps with bad lighting. Nothing on the walls like a prison cell. The only seating in the room was a dirty fabric arm chair. I got a flat sheet to cover so I could to sit to put on my shoes. The windows shades were old, dusty & hard to roll down. The one tiny, dirty window in the room. The hangers bang off the back wall of the closet & there is no door. The hotel looks like someone started renovations & then just walked away half way through. We don’t eat breakfast but it didn’t look too good. The hotel staff was very pleasant & accommodating but they can’t make up for the conditions of the hotel. Will never stay here again.
