Quality Inn At the Mall - Valdosta - Hotel in Valdosta - 1705 Gornto Rd, USA

I called the Comfort Inn and Suits, for a reservation,they were full but could book us at a sister hotel just down the road. I asked if it was compatible to their hotel and she said yes. The room was musty, no electrical outlets worked. I had to unplug the lamps to plug in my phone. The sheets were dirty. It looked like a face of makeup in the middle of the bed. There was stains on them, and it looked like vomit on the side of the bed. There was a cupboard in front of the adjoining room door because the lock didn't work. Moldy food in the refrigerator and dead bugs in the bathroom. Open soap and cups. The list goes on and on. Ice machine was broken. I asked for a new room or just clean sheets and they said they were sold out. House keeping keeps the sheets and towels so she had nothing to give us. Can't imagine that. They took a whole $50 off my bill..whippy...it should have been free. This place should have the Health Department inspecting it and I'm sure it wouldn't pass. Also I will never stay with Comfort Inn or their sister hotels again, they booked this hole for me and said it was nice.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in and I have traveled from GA to Fl. I paid 80 something dollars. The room key wouldn’t work and I made 3 trips to the office. He put me in a room, I could not get the tv to work. There refrigerator has no freezer, no microwave. Ice machine did not work on the second floor so I had to make a trip downstairs. The water pressure in the shower was awful. There is a huge hole in the bathroom behind the door. The sheets were stained and I just pray I don’t have bed bugs. I stayed at hotels a lot cheaper then this that were a lot better. Light didn’t work coming in the door. What a dump. I could not use the plugs because they were all old. I really should get my money back. Oh yes the front door where you can put the piece across door is broke stands up straight.

I have stayed at many hotels over that past few years since I moved from Florida to Illinois and I travel back to Florida for visits quite often. This was the worst experience I have ever had! It began with the room key! I had my dogs with me and I had gotten my room key and then gone and taken my dogs to my room only to find that the key did not work. Got the dogs back in the car and back to the front desk where I waited for 15 min because there was now a line of 7 people and one person working. I was given some line about how my phone could have affected the key - didn't even have my phone on me - how could the phone affect the key in less than 5 min? Get the dogs back to the room - which was on the second floor and halfway between the 2 stairways (first was very conveniently right next to the stairs - helpful with big dogs) finally made 4 trips up the stairs with mine and the dogs things. A large peg (hanging coats?) falls right out of the wall. One of the main lamps does not work. No tissues - uses toilet paper which the holder fell right out of the wall the second I pulled on it. Went to take a shower...this was the worst... No hot water. I was furious. I had just driven 10 hrs and all I wanted to do was shower and relax. Breakfast - no cups. OJ came out as water. Hot water for tea and the coffee were both cold as ice. I get that sometimes you get what you pay for....but I didn't even get that! I should've gotten a shower and a comfortable place to sleep! Instead the seal on the door was shotty so I smelled cigarette smoke most of the night from people smoking outside. I had another long drive the next day and I barely slept and felt gross for not showering. Worst hotel ever!!! Not even worth a star.

**If you've done an express deal** Not to dismiss the 1 star reviews because this place is dated and isn't a fine lodging establishment. However, if you've done an express deal, you're a cheap-o, like me, just looking for a place to crash while traveling. YOU'LL BE FINE! The place is old and in dire need of renovations. It is what you'd expect from an old hotel. Some rust spots on fixtures and the furniture was scuffed up. However, the sheets were clean and sanitary. The shower was good and the toilet was clean. They provide soaps and such. I've stayed in several nice places lately that didn't do that. The floors were fairly clean and the carpet is groovy! (As in it may be from the 70's) GET A COUPLE EXTRA PILLOWS if there is more than one person in a bed. They are tiny square pillows. We checked for bugs and didn't see anything except a small seasonal type bug in the tub that could've come in with us or maybe while the door was open for cleaning. One of the issues is that all of the cleaning staff were younger men. Us guys aren't generally the best at cleaning. OVERALL it'll get you through a night. The bed was comfy enough for an old springy mattress. We both slept well and had a good shower. I consider it a win for a cheap spot to sleep and shower.

Horrible place. We drove all day and decided to stay there on our way to Florida. We checked in at 11:30 pm hoping for a good night sleep. The room didn't have clean bedding!!! They didn't change sheets and pillowcases. We complained to the front desk. The girl there told us that she doesn't have any clean room and she doesn't have spare clean sheets. She told us to check out! The tiles were missing and the mattress was filthy. We filled a complain with the corporate office. This place should be shut down for health inspections.

This should be your absolute last resort. Dirty, musty, certifiably NASTY. The staff is nice but they need to bulldoze this place to the ground and start over. I can’t count on one hand how many roaches I saw in the their dinning breakfast area, there was no toilet paper in the room which smelled like a bob Marley concert, very sketchy people hanging around the rooms. The location is good right next to the mall but that’s about it. If you’re out of options, and are absolutely desperate, go ahead, just bring the bed bug spray with you.

Would not recommend! Nasty motel! In much need of renovation! I walked into the lobby and water was dripping from the ceiling all over the front desk and breakfast area. Are they really serving breakfast like that?! The room smelled bad. Mattress were nasty! Some sort of bug crawling on the sheets so I smashed it unfortunately into the sheets the fridge door didn’t close and seal. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to stay here.

Did not have a queen non-smoking room, and breakfast was not as advertised with the waffle mix out of commission and no fresh fruit available. Limited options. Rooms are old. Overpriced and poor quality.
